I never liked the way he held the ball but when he was producing I was willing to overlook that problem.

But this year he is running like shit. Too much dancing and not hitting the holes with enough power. Last year if he had a good hole he would hit it like a freight train and we would get at least 5-7 yards out of it, sometimes more when he broke a tackle.

I don't really care too much though. RBs are disposable to me. As long as they can get short yardage and pass block it is good enough in today's NFL.

Until this year no one used to run against us unless we had some injuries so I don't hold that against him. I do recall someone at ESPN or NFLN explaining how most of his success came with playing with VY because of the system they ran with him and he hasn't been as successful without him.

That might explain the Eagles recent success running the ball as well. I am really interested in how long Reid will stick with the run.

Speaking of guys who don't know how to hold onto the football, McCoy on the Eagles has to be the worst. I am always surprised when he doesn't fumble.

Redman was undrafted for a reason. He's just a straight ahead no frills guy. Which, when you have a line that can't get out of its own way most of the time, that kind of guy is good. Hold onto the ball, go forward and don't lose yards. Next year, I'm hoping Baron Batch becomes more of a factor and I think he will.

It's cheap relative to other NFL locations, they don't have much pricing power with the way the team's played, and the area wouldn't be able to afford 40 bucks for parking like they do elsewhere.

The threat of being moved is really Ralph's health. Once he's gone it's being put up for sale and the new owner could do whatever he wants.

I read articles by columnists. In the end, it's all the same shit. ESPN just swallows it all and regurgitates it for the largest audience.

Thats more of an econiomic issue with production. Even 800 pound gorrillas cant possibly have the same production quality over many sports. Not possible and made worse by econicmics. (Even made worse by no NBA season)

To be more accurate - the highest rated NFL games tend to be on NBC but you right that ESPN is the major primary outlet. Thats why NBC Sports had to move out of 30 Rock because the faclity is too old and they need sets like yesterday. They NOW (via comcast) have some ownership in MLB Net and they will be moving there sets too and own a bunch of NBA/NHL teams and coverage deals with the biggest MLB Teams. That tax credit sealed the deal though.

The biggest error in judgement was not going after FOX's NFC rights deal when CBS was betting their whole company on AFC rights. Not possible? They had enough money. They still are smarting even after they got the Sunday Franchise. That loss of the Sunday Franchise was ESPN's fault because they would have had BOTH still. ESPN couldnt pay 660 million for MNF on ABC. But a week later they found the cash to get MNF on ESPN for 1.8 BILLION?
