Eh, my Saints lost to the winless Rams TWICE. I'm used to it.
Lost to Cardinals and Seahawks last year.
The NFC West has actually kicked our ass the past few years, except for the niners.
The crazy shit is we beat the Steelers last year too.
This team is just completely unpredictable.

yeah we can't seem to beat the saints. i think you guys have beaten us like 6 straight times :(

I'm actually more scared of how my team would play against bad teams than good ones. They play really well against great teams and they shit the bed against really bad ones. Except the colts. I guess they got confused there. Maybe they thought Manning was still on the field or something.

Packers have a tough schedule?

On what planet?

P.S. Expletives to clients who wouldn't know if good design hit them in the head. Expletive them!

just on paper.... as in "they play X amount of teams with a winning record". i wouldn't say the packers have a tough schedule at all if you look at the actual teams but the fact is they do play a lot of "winning" teams

Compare to what they have played so far. Its the toughest schedule in the history of NFL.

Bears have actually had the tougher schedule so far, in part because the packers don't play themselves

And coming soon, they'll lose to the Bucs at home 3 years in a row!

i guess. the only tough games i see them having are the chargers, giants and lions...
Ha the same Giants with Antrell Rolle right?

FrenchMovieTheme said:
maybe the raiders.
We've had no problem stopping the run.

Or busted quarterbacks.

Just rookies

Nah they always beat you guys at least once a season.
We'll see, I don't really know what to expect anymore.
Since we beat you in Tampa, and it's been the other way around the last 2 years.
With our luck, we'll be up by 3+ TDs at halftime, and still lose.

Yeah, like Josh Freeman in 09.

like i said, giants aren't shitty and neither are the raiders. the packers have pass defense problems of their own on defense!

with that being said, i can't see more than 2 or 3 losses for the packers with their schedule which will probably mean a #1 seed

Coming off a bad road loss, the Saints will be pissed off to hell.
Part of it definitely has to do with Payton being up in the booth. Huge changes in the way the plays are called and changed in the game. Pete Carmichael is a fucking nerd and an idiot. I don't trust him making plays. In the dome though, the Saints this year just play on a different level.

lol the bucs are a shitty team and everone knows that. of course any team can beat any other team on any given sunday but over the course of the season a teams true talent level comes out. bucs are probably getting smashed this weekend. i wish it weren't so, since the more saints losses the better for the niners, but that's just how it's going to go unfortunately

When the Saints used to be pretty good and win 10-12 games a year with that ridiculous defense you guys used to go 13-3 or 14-2 and win the SB. We were always in your shadow. I think turning the tables is fair play.

Just found out I will be at the Redskins game against my will. Ah well, I have nothing against Redskins fans so I guess I'll root with 'em. Hopefully it's not too cold.

Maybe the Bears will actually get some respect if they beat the Eagles. But probably not.

Yeah, listen to the 'experts' and Philly trampling the Bears is a forgone conclusion. I admit 4-3 isn't rocking anyone's socks off, but you can't deny they had a brutal early schedule. Plus the offense is looking somewhat respectable as of late. And with Carimi finally healthy, that should only help.

Dumb question, what is a ":jnc" I only see that in here.

it means jakncoke. something about how JNC used to spam the laughing smilie. so when something is funny, people type :jnc or something.

True story; I've been forced to go to two games and both were 49er's games. The first time was in NorCal though so it was cool but comfortable. I could enjoy tomorrow more If I weren't going to be a popsicle.

I was super confident heading into this Patriots game, but with the injuries to our top two skill position players along with our top DLineman, not sure anymore. We'll probably only win by 4.

I want all of our guys back so that we can stomp out the Niners and Niner-GAF forever.
You should feel better. JPP is in (though I'd argue Tuck is better but hasn't had the chance to prove it yet this year).

Nicks, Baas and Bradshaw are out but Barden has been activated off of PUP and considering he's been taking first team reps all week, you can bet your butt he'll be playing. Prince also made the trip as expected. We may see his debut.

My guess is Boothe and Cordle will split duties at center depending on the play packages fielded.

No I think 31 straight regular season home games for Brady, 18-1 against NFC teams at Gillette and 2 back to back losses for the Patriots in 8 years is a total fluke. To think they aren't highly favored is laughable. Of course they can lose. It just isn't very likely. Period.
I agree. There's no question it's an uphill climb. However, NE was a couple stupid play calls away from losing to the Cowboys at home as well. I've said it a number of times, it's not a game I expect to win (even less so with the folks that are out) but it wouldn't surprise me if the Giants pulled off an upset either. Of course we could just get our asses kicked as well. Who knows anymore...

It would take a huge choke for the Packers not the get to the SB this year.
Not really. They are the best team now but it takes a lot of luck to win the SB. You have to stay healthy and get good matchups.

They are only a huge favorite if you are imprisoned in Green Bay, work for ESPN or you are the type of person who takes power rankings seriously.

I still don't get how these networks expect us to take Matt Millen seriously as an analyst.

Matt Millen may have been a terrible GM, but he is a damn good analyst. He actually thinks for himself, he doesn't just go along with everyone else. He is brutally honest and isn't afraid to be bold.

The next two games for you guys will make or break the season.

Totally. The Philly game is quite a bit more important, though. If Bears lose against Philly, season is over in my opinion. If they manage to beat Philly but still lose to the Lions, they still have a good chance at 6th seed because they would have good tie breakers against other wildcard seeking teams: Falcons, Bucs and Eagles.

But I don't see them winning this week. Bears give up too many big yardage plays, and the Eagles are the king of big plays.
