Watching some of the replays on NFLN and my GOD the tackling by the SD offense on that Peprah return of the Rivers INT. Horrid. I mean no effort. One guy literally pushes him forward towards the end zone!

Can't blame Arians for this. This was a close game and instead of ending up on the winning side we ended up losing. Bound to happen eventually.

Ugh. Swept by the Rats.

Makes me feel so damn dirty.

Far as Arians goes...that last drive was horrid. Burn some fucking clock you dolt! Don't tell me about Bens 3rd game in a row with 300 yards, people are breaking passing records left and right in this new NFL (Or are expected to at least), and he should be putting up those numbers with these young and hungry receivers!

Still....it's not *just* him. The entire coaching staff dropped the ball. That delay of game at the end is completely on Tomlin, I love the guy but that's amateur hour. Also, and this is more general as opposed to just this specific game, but why is it that this team seems to play either up or down to their opponents? Doesn't matter who it is, we just never seem to just destroy a team like we should, I feel as though as the HC he has to take the responsibility for this. We don't seem to have that killer instinct.

Lebeau is a legend and probably the biggest reason for most of our success in the past decade...but his prevent defense, as seen in that final drive, has always been sketchy. The difference has been individual players freelancing to make huge plays (Troy getting a pick, Harrison getting a sack, Farrior causing a fumble, etc)...as we all know, this team doesn't seem to have that anymore. Changes are needed.

Hey now! They're having enough trouble trying to play offense as it is. Don't bag on their defensive skills too!!

They were just conserving clock. The faster he scores, the faster they get the ball back!

Deion's line was great though, about how the Charger O should be much better at tackling after INTs after all the practice they've had.

They'll lose 4 to Pitt and Baltimore.

Probably! Unfortunately the one of the things that Carson did well that I'll miss, was play against the Ravens. Steelers, not so much. With this new crew, who knows.

You know what? I think deep down you aren't so sure that's true.

Yeah dickriding isn't exactly a new term, it's about as new as Kid 'N Play.

It's the most perfect word for the praise Tebow gets, because most it is thinly veiled lust, I conjecture.

Watch Dalton to Green walk all over our D.

Look, you can go to the preseason thread and look at the expectations everyone had. I personally thought if this team won 3 games I'd call it a successful season. So, I can't be mad what happens after this. I've had enough surprise that I can't rule anything out anymore.

Dalton will take the bengals to the playoffs and be beating the stealers. He will tear his knee up on a dirty play by them and need surgery on it. He will then keep getting worse until he retires.

Yeah, everyone thought they'd be shit. I liked Dalton coming out but I didn't think he'd play this well, especially on the Bengals who don't really spread the ball around like they do at TCU. Green is everything everyone thought he was, took Dalton a couple of games to figure it out.

Personally thought bringing back M.Lewis was a bad move, but what do I know.

I prefer nut hangers... or, the GAF coined, "clit hangers!"

I think clit hanger has a very narrow definition of lonely internet virgins hanging on the every word of posters who they think are girls

Nut huggers is good. Dick riding seems obscene

So was this posted? Dolphins win a game after the locker room blowing up?

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...lphins-wr-marshall?module=HP11_headline_stack

Team sources said Sunday that several players spent a late night out in South Florida on the eve of an important practice earlier in the week. One of those players -- cornerback Vontae Davis -- didn't travel with the Dolphins to Kansas City as a result of his "inability to act like a professional," a team source said. Davis showed up late to practice on the day after his late night out, according to multiple sources both inside and outside the organization.

After Davis reported to practice, he eventually was confronted by wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who began berating the cornerback for acting unprofessional during a time of despair for the then-winless Dolphins. A shouting match broke out, and Marshall threw a football hard from point-blank range into Davis' face, a source with knowledge of the altercation said.

At that point, Davis had to be restrained as he went after Marshall.

A source close to Davis said the cornerback was "about to rip (Marshall's) head off" after comments that he believed "crossed the line."

A source close to Marshall said several teammates later applauded the receiver's decision to confront Davis. But other team sources said Marshall's approach -- including his decision to throw the football in Davis' face -- caused others to question his hot-and-cold leadership style.

Just got a mental picture of DM going reverse cowgirl on Fatty. It wasn't pretty. Now, if he were to hang on his nuts, that would just be comical.

The fact that your mind goes that dirty so quickly is scary, you've been hanging around FMT way too long :(
I'm just saying that term is very graphic especially when Squicken pointed it out. It sounded like he was looking at it literally. Just sayin'!

Comical.

Meat spin can be comical too, I guess... but it's conceptually funny, not visually funny.

[edit]Sorry to bring up FG, which is normally not very funny.

Giants locker room clip after the game:

Coughlin totally unapproachable Stalin type who loses his players...yeah.
When you have a great coach like Tom Coughlin, a leader at QB like Eli and a veteran WR like Michael Clayton you can't lose a locker room.

You know its gonna be another Tebow title

The Niners/Giants should be good. The pass rush was lacking against Washington and I'm not sure if it's because Jean-Francois was playing or just the lack of any blitzes. The Niners best tactic vs Eli's deepball will be getting to him quickly enough.

NFL Week 9 2011 |OT| Alex Smith Best QB in California (not counting Luck)

Goooo niners! Not that beating the Washington Foreskins is anything to be proud of.

It's a clinch: How 49ers could win West in Week 11
Week 49ers (7-1) Seahawks (2-6) Cardinals (2-6) Rams (1-7)
10 win vs. Giants lose vs. Ravens lose at Eagles lose at Browns
11 win vs. Cardinals lose at Rams lose at 49ers win vs. Seahawks
Records 9-1 2-8 2-8 2-8

This could happen. Unfortunately, the Browns may be bad enough to lose to the Rams. Then again, the Rams just lost to J. Skelton. I'd use his first name if anybody actually knew it. I'm just going off the box score.
