NFL 2013 Preseason/Training Camp thread - Doritos Locos

Interesting. You could have just left it as the 90's Cowboys, that would have encapsulated the idea. I should just pull a Kave_Man and start rooting for a terrible team. But teams can be relegated correct? That happens every year? Last question, I'll go over to the other thread so as not to irritate anyone.

Root for Arsenal. It builds character

$120 Million dollar quarterbacks should be able to mint great receivers. No sympathy there.

Everyone I've seen so far on Gaf that's a Baltimore fan has said that the team is improved over last year. If they won the Superbowl last year, there shouldn't be any excuses why they can't repeat if they are improved. Can't play the underdog anymore.

Personal wise they did reload with some better pieces and some not. But it is the leadership factor that left is what is in question. One of those factors you just can't expect for

NFC West is going to be crazy this year. Even the Cardinals and Rams are going to be good.

Hahaha, so you don't like Bayern? Maybe I should wander into that UEFA thread sometime. Really I don't know enough about the teams. I did enjoy watching Ozil and Xavi though in the world cup.

It's all good slay. Better than rooting for Madrid, Chelsea or Man City I say.

Demarcus is out the game so this game loses some of the appeal. Now Will Allen is out as well. Carson shouldn't have an incomplete pass for the rest of the time he's in the game.

I'm looking forward to the Neckbeard Vs. Drew battle of good game managing.

Imagine the Cowboys were as successful as the Patriots, and there was no salary cap to keep Jerry Jones from buying anyone that shows any semblance of talent. Wouldn't you just absolutely adore that team?

I dunno, a team that spends billions of dollars and still has never won a championship doesn't sound like something to hate, just something to laugh at.

:p

It's hard to find a good comparison because the NFL actually has mechanisms in place to prevent the kind of prolonged dominance that Bayern has. And it's a much better league for it. Thanks Socialism.

Tire went flat in a matter of seconds courtesy of an antler shard (?!?) in rural Virginia. Where nothing is open between 12pm Saturday and 8am Monday. Damn you, Virginia.

Good thing spare tires exist.

Every Premier League match is either aired on NBC, NBC Sports, or can be streamed for free on NBC's new site Live Extra.

can they all be streamed there not matter what?
I'd watch more games if they were available here. I feel like we only get the shittiest of matchups on espn2.

I have no reason to like a particular team, but since I played as Liverpool whenever I play FIFA, I always kind of root them on.

You just have to put in TV provider details, but besides that its completely free.

Every match for every week. Thank you Based NBC

It's always weird when announcers talk about how awesome a job the scouts/GM are doing before they've even played a real game.

"He deserves a LOT of credit for turning around this roster"

That's the type of thing you say after a season is over, not before it.
