No, you're right. It's not a fair comparison at all. 9ers were at home, the weather was much better and SEA clearly has a top tier defense.

Even still, SF looks terrible here after looking unstoppable last week.

Losing your safeties is insanely disruptive to a defense. After that game I was actually not that upset with how the defense played. They did enough to keep it a one score game. I'm confident that it would go even better should even one of our starting safety options be healthy when we meet again.
