Report: Dolphins tackle Jonathan Martin goes AWOL over prank

The starting right tackle for the Miami Dolphins has gone AWOL after he was the victim of an undisclosed team prank earlier this week, according to multiple reports.

Jonathan Martin, a second-year offensive tackle, left the Dolphins' facility Monday after reportedly being pranked in the cafeteria by fellow offensive linemen. Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reported Wednesday that Martin "flipped out, smashed a food tray on the ground, took off, and they haven't seen him since."

Glazer said Martin is with his family and receiving treatment.

Martin is listed as doubtful for Thursday night's game against Cincinnati, with the cause listed as illness. Tyson Clabo is expected to start in his place.

A second-round pick from Stanford, Martin started every game at tackle for Miami this season, the first six games on the left side, and the latest game on the right.

With Solder out, we could use Martin. We have nice guys in our locker room and great leaders. Just have Scar turn him into an All-Pro and then when Vollmer is back, trade him back to the Dolphins for a 1st round pick.
