They play the same roll in the offense, yes, but Woodhead is way better.
I've made the argument that there should be a section for situationally great players who don't have the raw stats to get in otherwise. People don't seem too keen on that.
now that i think about it, the jets had him before you guys.

idk if he is way better but Vereen is still pretty good. Practically won that first Buffalo game for us with a broken wrist.

Well let's put it this way, Vereen is more explosive, Woody is more reliable.
Plus he converted a 3rd and 28 draw play against the Broncos last year, that was really neat.
