NFL 2014 Week 1 |OT| 0-0-0

Out of the Patriots, Saints, Packers, Bears, Colts. Only the Packers and Colts lost to playoffs teams (and the Champions of their respective conference I might add).

The ship isn't sinking yet! We really need to go back to the drawing board for our red zone offense. We have some depth at WR and TE, and we should use it.

I have no idea what you guys did differently in the first and second half to stop Manning. Packers confused me because they had Cobb or Nelson on our #5 CB for about half the game and still didn't do much. I'm also not sure if our OL actually improved a lot or the Packers DLine is just that bad.

So Im watching Gameday Final on NFLN and Cutler threw an interception straight to a nose tackle? How the hell do you even do that?

People are going a bit too ham in that Destiny thread.

I personally have the game preinstalled, pretty hyped. With that said, the meltdowns in that thread will be numerous and extravagant.

There is no way this game lives up to those expectations.

So did any Super Bowl contender besides Seattle look decent? Pats, Colts and Saints lost. Broncos almost choked away their game at home. 49ers basically got gifted 14 points and only scored 14 points in the rest of the game against one of the worst defenses. Eagles got behind 17-0 against the freaking Jags at home.

Seahawks were gifted most of their points AND they played at home.

It was a no win situation for the niners:

1. Win easily "lulz who cares it's the cowboys"
2. Win close "lulz u barely beat the cowboys"
3. Lose "lulz u lost to the cowboys"

I can't wait for the "there's only 9 hours of content!" posts.

Bungie sucks at making SP content, making it into an mmo? Ha

Hopefully the MP versus has some legs.

I fully expect for there to be backlash against it. It's been hyped to the high heavens here and there's a Destiny thread popping up every couple of hours that should've been posted in the OT instead.

I have my popcorn ready.

I'm sure it will be a good to great game just off what I played in beta, but some folks are going to be let down.

Saw a guy talking about getting 100s of hours from multiplayer alone. That's ambitious lol.

I expect some backlash and threads like everything else.

But I feel like I pretty much know what to expect from the game, playing the alpha and beta extensively. I'm pretty pumped

The defense did a bit better, and was actually starting to get pressure. Our coaches also realized having Landry 1on1 with Orange Julius 6yds away from the endzone is a free fucking TD to any QB at any level.

They also tackled better, and Davis had another good game against the Broncos. We wouldn't have had much of a chance if Peyton did not screw up his throws, towards the latter half of the 4th but I'll take it! It sucks that both of Luck's INTs were catchable (I think the 1st one was also tipped?)

Packers D looked pretty bad. The Seahawks look the same as last year to me, which is good enough to win a SB in the current state of the league.

Love how his account is "Real Skip Bayless". Just so people don't get confused and think he's a Skip Bayless parody account.

I was gonna say 49ers look decent, but then you guys really took the gas off the pedal.

I love dark souls but I had almost as much fun reading the mental breakdown transcripts of specific gaffers after it released.

The Vikings, you'll see when they whoop the pats next week.

Maaann I hope Cully and Ward are okay. What a game today, so happy to see our defense step up. Would've loved more points though =\

WHOO! I couldn't stay up late so I turned off the Falcons game when they were down and seemed unable to stop the NO offense. To my surprise, they rallied and came back to win!

It wasn't tipped or a lob pass or anything. he literally just throws it straight at his chest.

hell of a catch by the Bills NT though

Kyle Williams has low key been a top 5 DT in the league for a while now. Might be falling off a bit though.

Just realized Luck threw 53 times, yikes.

Cutler threw for 49,which was completely unnecessary. Forte was running very well today.

I have finally come to the realization that Cutler is who he is. I held hope that QB guru Trestman could fix Cutler. Nope. Finally. Getting a solid O-Line. Nope. Amazing surrounding weapons. Nope. He is always going to have poor mechanics, throwing off his back foot, forcing throws that are not there, and making mind numbing decisions. He should have been picked at least two more times today. Cutler is surrounded with the best RB, WR, TE combo in the league (arguably) and he still can't rise to the level he is expected to (at least according to how much he is being paid).

Also that revamped D-Line did not provide much pressure today. It's only one game but... Yeah we lost the the Fucking Bills. Hey, at least we are not the Rams. They really set themselves back having all those high draft picks and no bright future to show for it.

Looking forward to 0-2!

Barring a total domination by Arizona's defense tomorrow, I will win my first FF game.

Dez Bryant, Demarius Thomas and Bernard Pierce tried their best to ruin me.

Romo, Cutler, and Stafford fans are funny to me. It's like they do the same things every year and you guys convince yourself they are going to change. It's like the crazy chick who thinks their boyfriend is going to change for them.

Lmao.

I don't have the gifs handy, but you are wrong about the Cincy and the Bucs games, and there is indisputable visual evidence.

Good start to the season so far. The Dallas-SF may have been over by the end of the first quarter, but Tony Romo has proven himself one of the greatest sports entertainers of his generation. We don't breed the best QBs here in Wisconsin, but we make damn sure they aren't boring to watch.
