Fear of a GAF Planet
Better go ahead and double that crow order.

I only lost 15 points on that one, and I don't regret it one iota.

Brady shaved his beard. Also did the NFL see that video?

Yes, Goodell had access to that video when he made the initial suspension, so this is nothing new for him. Makes his decision even more questionable.

Pretty sure Goodell is going to get ripped apart (even more) when people realize that he saw that video when no one else had and still went with just two games.

:lol

I was about to make this joke.

Speaking of Gata's getting assaulted. How badly will Pats GAF turn on him if they go 0-2?

And what will happen if AP drops 300 yards on them and they go 0-3?

I look forward to this possible Pats GAF civil war. Been waiting a long time for this...

I think its possible we go 1-2 but Saints fans will take it better than if Pats fans have a record like that.

I was not expecting the Falcons to beat the Saints. I missed the game cause of my wife's birthday + blackout restrictions. From the box score it looks like the offense pulled its weight but had a devastating turnover.

How did the defense look Cajun? I am guessing holes all over the place in the secondary.

I was going to come in and say Antonio Brown should be suspended for that disgusting kick but then you see what gets you a 2 game suspension in the NFL and I have no real argument for it.

It's funny, for everyone that (justifiably) thinks Goodell did far too little with that video, the police did even less.

Goodell doesn't need the wife's cooperation.

Defense looked absolutely terrible but considering that its largely the same players (plus osme more talented additions) Id say its more due to scheme and the defense not playing to their potential. The first half we forced a fumble and got pressure on Ryan, went up 20-7 but for some inexplicable reason, let the Falcons back in it just before the half and it was downhill from there. It got really ugly. We ended up fumbling in OT and I think if we didnt, we were good enough on offense to win, but the defense was just horrific. Even Junior and Cameron couldnt get to Ryan and Tyrunn Walker only got one sack the whole game. I dont think they will be that terrible the rest of the season but this was a wakeup call that Atlanta has fixed its problems and wont be so easy.
Also Patrick Robinson is shit but we knew that already. Byrd made some crucial tackles as expected.

Yep. Ravens and police have gotten a pass. It's not that the Ravens didn't cut him, it's that they posted all those videos of support from fans and shit on their official site. I have no idea what you have to do to a spouse in Jersey to get actual jail time. Awful

Not really. They have a program for first time offenders that allows them to escape jail time if they go through some three step process.

You can say the program is shit and light on crime or whatever but you can't say he is getting special treatment. This is an established plea for this type of first time offense.

It would be pretty fucking dumb to make taxpayers provide for Rice for x months just to delay the inevitable. Better to go the cheaper option then hammer him when he hammers her again.

Courts can't do anything if she is refusing to taking it forward.

Beadle going ham on twitter

Pretty sure they can. They don't need her permission or cooperation to press charges. The reason most cases like this fall apart when the victim doesn't cooperate is because the case is predicated on a he said/she said situation. If they don't have the victim's testimony, they have nothing. There is video in this case.

So.. my partner & I are going to the MNF Ravens game in November, and he wants to bring a prop to the game.

He wants dress in a Ray Rice jersey, sneak in a blow-up doll, and beat the crap out of it whenever a big play involving Ray happens, dragging it up & down the stairs, throwing it around our section, etc.

I keep telling him that this is a bit much, and that this is asking for trouble.

They can move forward, but it makes it awkward and a more difficult conviction, especially when you take into account that it would be against the norm in AC to not plea into their first time offender program, which was set up specifically to save the costs of prosecuting and housing first time offenders.

I think it's pretty obvious that once Ray Rice returns to the field, he's going to have a target on him. Defenders are going to blow him up any chance they get. I think there are quite a few guys who don't appreciate domestic violence.

How good are the dolphins?
We'll find out a lot more against Buffalo. It would be classic Dolphins to win yesterday and then lose to the Bills.

That said, the roster is improved from last season. The o-line looks to be a pretty big upgrade, Knowshon is an upgrade at RB, and Lazor's offense has looked smart and diverse. The d-line might be even better at stopping the run with Earl Mitchell taking Soliai's spot and Finnegan looks better than he did in St. Louis.

All three starting LB's sat out most of the game yesterday but the backups came up big. On top of that the Dolphins had no Reshad Jones, no Dion Jordan, and no Mike Pouncey.

If this team irons out the stupid mistakes and Tannehill sharpens up they could be a 10 or 11 win team.

lol Darian Stewart got made to look like a lil bitch

Also as for cutting Ray Rice, can they even? Financially speaking. If im reading overthecap right it'll make their already tight cap tighter. Unless they could somehow use this thing to get out of dead money of course.

That is an absolutely horrible idea.

So good. Can't believe how good he is when he is actually utilized properly in the offensive game.

I just wonder how his own team will play. Will the offensive line try as hard to make holes for him? Is the coordinator going to give him less touches?

Probably not because they all want to win, but it's a thought.
