Lets say you get a seat with a PSL of $20,000. You can pay straight cash homie or you can pay a loan with interest with the team. Then each year you still have to pay for the ticket price. Some stadiums give you the right to purchase the tickets for all events at the stadium such as concerts and such. Teams argue you save money in the long run.

Basically they do this to offload the construction to the ticket buyers. It sucks and it's almost never good for the fans and doesn't save them money.
