Im so confused.... Wasn't the rule change made to give the other team possession too?
The rule change was only done so to stop the coin toss winner from going 45 yards and kicking a fg and ending the game

OT doesn't need to be dragged out. Both teams by that time have had 60 minutes to win the game.
Enough there for Broncos to believe/hope they can win if they get to the SuperBowl again.
congrats rando! you beat the broncos and i'm about to beat greg!
DAMNITHell yeah, we rule!!
Except Greg, he started Devonta Freeman :'(
"I'm better at losing than you are!"Trash talking is for game time. When you lose, you gotta have humility and show respect.
Shirts off, time to blast these nips!Hell yeah, we rule!!

I did pretty good in the pick 'em league so far today: 12-2.
Only messed up on KC and SD.

Can we agree that was the Broncos best?
Sometimes you just gotta tip your hat and call the Seahawks your daddy.
Who says Seatle could have stopped Peyton? It came down to a coin flip, sorry, it's bullshit
Welp that's it.
Defense was gassed. They gave it their all.
Pete is just training his jaw because he's a world-class lady-pleaser. Surely someone with your physical prowess could respect someone for training so hard for their sportHaha. If you saw a guy chewing his gum like that in the gym you wouldn't immediately label him a tool? Sure....
No way. The league wants the games to end and not drag out for long stretches (that's also why you can have a tie) and if you can't stop the other team from scoring a TD on the first drive you deserve to lose. Coin flip my ass
I'd move the starting spot back to the 40 or 50 yard line, but yeah, I'd much prefer a college-style format where both teams get a shot, 2nd OT you have to go for 2 on extra points, etc.
*insert perfect gif chosen by rando here*DAMNIT
EVEN TEBOW GOT MORE POINTS THAN HIM THIS WEEK
Maybe next time Peyton and his offense won't wait until the 4th quarter to show up. They had an entire game to win any way they wanted to.
it doesn't change the fact that NFL OT is literally fucking stupid and decided on coin flips

I don't think so.
A no turnover game is the Broncos best, plus a true commitment to the run would help.
Seattle may have won a Superbowl against us and the last game, but we have been their daddy throughout their history. 2 games doesn't change decades of being dominated. I'm not trying to rub anything in, but let's call a spade a spade here.
literally?

the rules are figuratively dumbliterally?
"Luke, I heard that the NFL switched to Surfaces because laptops kept on disappearing."
"Luke, how many laptops have you had stolen since joining the Panthers?"
"Luke, have you seen my laptop?"
The CFL also is inferior in every way.Still feels like a silly way to handle it. The CFL does a "take turns" approach.
Naw penalty kicks! First kicker to kick three 60 yard FGs, then turn around 10 times while singing "Oh Susana" Wins!Let's just eliminate OT altogether and play five 15 minute periods to placate fans that feel their team deserves more time to win a game past regulation.
why not just call it a tie then? both teams had 60 minutes to win, I guess neither of them wanted it.
because ties are unamerican
Honestly I'd have no problem with getting rid of OT altogether in the regular season and just having ties.
Our good coaches all left, our offensive line sucks, most of our receivers are gone, we will be lucky to go 8-8.Hahahaha Packers fans wtf happened?
Fun Fact: The same coach who made that call also called a to last week against the Packers
ESPN Stats & Info ‏@ESPNStatsInfo 3m
Broncos are 0-3 in OT games with Peyton Manning as QB (including playoffs) They were 4-0 in OT in 2011 (all with Tim Tebow as QB)
All of a sudden people are bitching about OT rules when Seattle wins in OT. Stop crying.

new OT:
you pick your best 11 players and scatter them around the field
Olivia Munn is blindfolded and placed at the 50 yard line
the first player she manages to tackle loses the game and their soul
I love Seattle. they're my NFC team of choice. but I still always feel let down by the NFL's shitty overtime rules. All of a sudden people are bitching about OT rules when Seattle wins in OT. Stop crying.
