You probably make half the money doing 1/20 the work in the booth. Why even bother coaching unless you inherit a team like say Indy who is on the rise.

Who cares about Barry Bonds? Him and Clemens aren't getting in, regardless of the fact they were HOFers before steroids. Still about as relevant as bionic's sex life.

Absolutely. If you're super competitive or haven't won a ring yet, I would understand. I don't see a reason for him.

Good morning!

Man.. that game last night! Usually it takes one minute for baseball to put me to sleep, but that one took two!
{I keed, I keed} :p~~~

Well fuck if Cower says it didnt matter it must not have mattered. I look forward to the NFL formally apologizing to the Pats, and refunding their fine money any day now.

Good to see that you finally get it.

Cowher, an NFL studio analyst for CBS, interviewed Patriots coach Bill Belichick last week, and he said the two talked extensively afterward, the first time they had done so since they were both NFL assistant coaches.

Cowher professed his admiration for Belichick and the sustained success he has enjoyed in the salary-cap era.

The Pittsburgh native also made it clear on Wednesday that he won’t be matching wits against Belichick -- or any other NFL head coach -- anytime soon.

Cowher reiterated that he has “no interest” in returning to the sideline even though his name has been linked to head-coaching vacancies every year since he retired from the Steelers in January 2007.

Cowher, who went 149-90-1 and won a Super Bowl in 15 seasons with the Steelers, acknowledged that he has received his share of inquiries about returning to coaching.

“It’s flattering but it never gets very far,” Cowher said. “If I ever want to get back into coaching I should be calling teams they shouldn’t be calling me. That’s when you know you really want to do it.

I'm sure he's only saying it because he wants a job guys! Or maybe CBS is forcing him!

Or maybe he is one of those old school coaches who wont ever make excuses for a loss. Either way the fucking NFL thought it was a big enough deal to punish them and burn the tapes, and shockingly since then they have won 0 SBs. Thats right 0 after winning 3 out of 4 previously. Hmmmmm kind of makes you wonder why they suddenly stopped winning SBs.

Jesus, who knew that Patriots fans would shit up the thread more when they are terrible than when they are good.

Good thing you're here to compensate.

Yes, I'm sure it's just him not making excuses for the loss. It's not like he said word for word that he did the same thing as the Pats.

Also, Pats got caught before the 18-1 season. But I like how you still try to use that in your argument as well, because who needs facts in this riveting discussion!

I don't think anyone denies that Bill is a great coach, or at least was. He seems like an intelligent football guy, and has obviously done great.
He probably will be a first ballot HOFer.

But really, all that happened was the biggest fine in NFL history to a single individual. Obviously he did nothing wrong. We all know Goodell is actually just the cover up man now, trying to make the league look as good as possible so the owners continue to make their money. You have to pretty damn biased to not see it that way.

The team still had to execute whatever they checked to, and they have to be good enough to execute at all, but it is what it is. It happened, and that's undeniable.

Good thing he destroyed that evidence though, because lol if otherwise.

Goodell said Belichick told him he believed the taping was legal; Goodell said he did not concur.

"He said that's always been his interpretation since he's been the head coach," the commissioner said. "We are going to agree to disagree on the facts."
....
Goodell also told Specter that that he doesn't regret destroying the Spygate tapes or the notes.

"I think it was the right thing to do," Goodell said.

The NFLs bottom line is all that matters really.
So it gets to linger in mystery instead of creating some big upheaval of records and causing a bigger, darker cloud on the event.
Im that sense, it was 100% the right thing to do, for the NFL.

The good thing about the Raiders is that they can't go down!

Interesting fact, there were a lot of Raiders fans in Wembley. They were actually quite loud in the first half. I wonder, is that the whole "I found a Raiders hat back in the 80s, 90s" or are they actual fans dating back to the successful years. Or new fans?

Plenty of Dolphins fans there as well, most of them definitely started off in the 80s and 90s. Mostly despondent after many years of mediocrity.

Then there was this dude with an Incognito jersey and I just shook my head. Then I saw a Hernandez jersey and wrote it off as "every team has idiot fans".

Craziest sight, father walking with two small boys on Regent St. He wears a Tannehill jersey, both boys wear Brady jerseys. I couldn't help myself I asked him if these were his sons. He replied: "Yes, don't ask why." :D

Your antics are what is destroying this thread. 40 posts a day and never anything to say.

We can't all be on a constant hate tour.

Pats fans are shitting up the thread, but here you are responding to every single post. Trying so hard to 'spread the truth'. You post more about the Pats than the Eagles.

Give it time.

I post a lot about the Eagles but the 2 other Eagles fans that actually post here are not enough to sustain a lot of conversation. That is still better then the 0% of gatas posts that are about anything.

Gata what were your thoughts on Monday's game and what do you think the problems are?

Also what is the meaning of life

Let's talk about Destiny.

Junk is grindy. I'm level 25 now and every method of progression requires grinding for materials and/or currency. Still having fun but I don't know how much more of this I'll do.

I am level 15 and I barely touch it anymore. I dont know how many times I can guard the robot while it scans something. I really think the review scores were almost to kind. Whoever was mission designer for this game should be fired.

Joe Six-Pack: posting for the common man
For those interested, JJ Watt Porn and some Manuel Mistakes.

Hard to play QB when your protection is all over the place, barely slid his way. What's crazy is how many missed tackles are backs caused in the first half to get the run game going a bit.

Protection is bad, but Manuel has no anticipation. Wonder what Orton does this week.

nice. I found this amusing.

"Hey Cyril, welcome to the NFL. Here's a Thor-like man-god. Try to block him."

I was surprised the Bills came out throwing. Seemed like a really poor gameplan.
