That's a catch and down. They'll get it right, not much ambiguity
One step, two steps, falls on his ass, ball comes out.
Ooookay

his ass was down.
Literally
I haven't known since that Calvin Johnson play like 5 years ago.I don't know what a catch is anymore.
That has to be five times this season where Jordan Matthews has had that happen.
no. he never completed the process of the catch as he was going to the ground. that is a clear pick (with how the NFL rules catches/non-catches these days)
That seems like a really bad call
He was running with the ball... He shouldn't have had to "maintain possession" since he was a runner.I haven't known since that Calvin Johnson play like 5 years ago.
eznark in 3...2...1...I eagerly anticipate that pick being used against Cam Newton by the box score watchers tho.
Exactly. It's mind boggling.Catch football, take four steps, get tackled.
That's no longer completing the process of the catch.....
You make an excellent point. Still don't know when a catch is a catch vs when it isn't.He was running with the ball... He shouldn't have had to "maintain possession" since he was a runner.
Have to agree. This is getting ridiculous.Catch football, take four steps, get tackled.

Don't worry, Bradford is good for at least 3 turnovers a game.ughh have to make that tackle.
If that INT comes back to bite us.
Bradford is garbage.
Bradford getting sacked. They can't expect him to make plays with only 5 seconds.
He took 4 steps though. If a guy catches a ball, and as he catches it the guy who makes contact with him brings him down, the WRs has to complete the process of going to the ground. It's the rule. It's a dumb rule but that is the right call
