NFL 2015 Week 9 |OT| - A Fraud Had Some Nice Shoes

Joe Six-Pack: posting for the common man
Guy from 538 blog says it's b/c Rodgers is too afraid to throw INTs so won't make risky throws needed to overcome big deficits. Luck has lots of comebacks but also throws lots of INTs

I haven't seen all those games to know the real reason, but it's notable that such a great QB doesn't have a single big, late game comeback

luck's comebacks are because he throws too many INTs early and then enters Eli Manning super mode.

Disappointing loss. Can't wait for the Jags to get a better offensive line. It is great to see Hurns and Robinson lighting it up. They really are turning into the new Smith/McCardell.

Bortles is still mistake-prone, but he can also make magic happen. At least he offers hope. For a second-year guy, he's doing good, IMO. Definitely feel better than when Henne and Gabbert were just stinking it up.

When your team is always down in the 4th, you get a lot more opportunities.

“If we were on the street, we probably would have had a fight.” Zimmer also references the “history” of “their defensive coordinator.

I wasn't as impressed by Carr as I was his o-line. Guys were stout. Most qb's are going to look great when they can stand and scan the field.
I would agree with you if Carr didn't have the highest QBR in the league against the blitz.

But the Raiders offensive line is in fact one of the best in the game despite the right side being completely taped up. Hudson is a huge part of that and when he got injured you saw Carr getting pressured constantly

Eh, this is the first game in a long time the defense actually gave him the chance to win/tie the game in the 4th.
On the other hand, he has had late scoring drives to lead the game in the forth and had the defense lose it many times over. Particularly early in his career. Defense has genuinely been a problem throughout his career. People don't talk about how bad the defense is because it's they're a bunch of studs.

Whats that have to do every other game he failed to come back in down 10 or more in the 2nd half? Like basically every single one.
