Agree completely. Prescott is like a (much) lesser version of Wilson when he came into the league. Really good mobile QB, weak passing QB. Let me be clear Prescott doesn't nearly have Wilson's athleticism and talent, and I am in no way saying they are equal. Just that the similarities are there. Prescott would be a great pickup in the later rounds with our scenario, since he would get two years to ride the bench and develop his passing skills. Hopefully DeFillippo and Reich would be able to mold him into a passer while he sits.

He's not very good. He played decently under LeBeau in Pittsburgh, hence him signing with LeBeau in Tennessee.

He's a far better slot corner than anything we had last year and we used his as our number 2....when you sign guys like him it's usually to patch up some holes because they are at least decent doing certain things...and the Dolphins just forced him into a role he's not good at and he even said he was the most comfortable in the slot not on the outside when we signed him.

I'd be happy to see the end of Blake. I'm kinda surprised we haven't re-upped Gay, but he's 31 and maybe there's some concerns about term and amount there. I thought he played pretty well last season, but then with Blake on the other side why would you ever need to look in Gay's direction?
I'd like Boykin back. When he finally got on the field he made plays, but we underused him criminally and I could see him getting bigger money elsewhere.
Allen is likely gone unless he sign him for a one year deal (he's 33).
Given that this is most of our secondary, I'm just a bit perplexed that we haven't at least re-signed someone from this group. I can't imagine we think we're going to draft/sign an entire new secondary (minus Mitchell).
The Steelers need to sign Gay before free agency begins. He actually has some value. Boykin probably wants to go somewhere that will actually play him. Every single one of the rest of those guys can eat a bag of dicks. They all suck. The Steelers will probably resign Blake and have him start instead of Gay...

Put me in together with Doomsayer for a 3rd year in row, we have always been able to get a good idea of what the team needs to draft.
I think the Steelers will actually play Boykin if he were to come back. We were just scumbags who didn't play him due to the prospective draft pick tied to our team's usage of him.
I hope Gay is signed as well. His dances alone are worth the price of admission. Who would have thought he'd become the anchor of our secondary after his first stint with the team?

I'm pretty curious about this year though... I think we either go Defense and try and trade up for one of the QBs or just draft a QB straight up.

I mean I am not evens opposed to drafting Lynch or Goff if they fall to 13 (to start in year 2 or 3) but at worst the Eagles should draft Prescott in the 3rd round to make sure they have someone who they can develop and grow.

Wasnt trolling, as I stated I usually would just blow it off. Why havent the Colts moved on an extension for Luck? What is the incentive to wait while QB salaries rise with each contract signed?
