I'm fine with this. Pace has done a nice job filling holes on the defense and getting into position to actually take BPA. If Elliott is there, I 'think they would go for him. That's assuming Pace doesn't trade back.

The proposed terms for the Eagles Browns deal are horrible only cause Eagles don't have a 2nd round pick this year.
The deal would be basically Eagles 2nd overall pick for 2 thirds this year, first round pick, and 3rd round pick next year.
If Luck or another sure thing is available AND they hadn't signed Bradford and Chase, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Nope. We don't have a 2nd, we have two QBs that we just signed to pretty big contracts, and we basically have no real talent on offense. We need to replenish our roster with this draft. Even if we grab Wentz, he won't have any weapons to help him until at least his 3rd year

Basically the Saints have a need at almost every defensive position except for MLB. Sheldon Rankins is in the conversation for one of the best defensive players left on the board, and the Saints need a DT.

I mean, I don't believe we're doing anything. I think it's all smoke to get another team to trade up for a QB. Guaranteeing 2 QBs off the board before we pick at 8.
It would be stupid to trade up and grab Wentz when we already have 2 QBs we've paid a shit ton of money to.
That said, if the dumbasses are just figuring out that they love Wentz and want him on the roster, then they should go get him, and if it fails...clean house.

We could be stringing teams along as if we're ready to make a deal, and then just not pull the trigger. The reports will force the hand of other teams who were hoping a QB fell to them. There were reports way back of the Eagles taking Wentz at #13, the guy may now go #2. I just think we're pushing better players down draft boards because everyone wants their own franchise QB. Other NFL teams just don't realize that the Eagles already have their man.
Howie doesn't lose trades, especially draft deals. I can't see him giving up nearly this much for Carson fucking Wentz.
