NFL 2016 Offseason Thread |OT3| - With the 29th pick of the 2016 NFL draft...

FMT is a dad! How best to celebrate?

I wonder if there's a budget Vegas casino that uses those for its all-you-can-eat buffet.

There was this place a little off the strip that my friend used to like going to because they had $5 steaks 24 hours a day. Forget what it was called. Boardwalk or some shit. They weren't half bad but then again I was plastered everytime I went there.

Speaking of great franchise QBs, PrideOfDetroit had an interesting article/poll on which season was Matthew Stafford's best - 2011 or 2015?

2011:

Let's talk about the particulars. Stafford became one of only five quarterbacks in NFL history to throw for 5,000 yards in a season. He also threw an incredible 41 touchdowns. He had a career high passer rating of 97.2 and the Lions made the playoffs for the first time since 1999.

2015:

Just like the last portion, let's first look at the particulars. Stafford threw for 4,262 yards and 32 touchdowns. Not bad. What's great is that he set career highs in completion percentage (67.2) QBR (63.64) and became the first quarterback in NFL history to complete at least 60 percent of his passes in all 16 games. All while getting sacked 44 times. Not bad at all.

http://www.prideofdetroit.com/2016/6/1/11808110/matthew-staffords-best-year-2011-vs-2015

I had no idea Stafford was the first QB in NFL history to throw at least 60% CPR in all 16 games last year.

That's absolutely astounding considering:

1.) We had probably the worst offensive line in the league

2.) We had the worst rushing attack in the league

3.) We switched coordinators mid season, afterwards with Stafford throwing 19 TDs and just 2 INTs under Jim Bob Cooter.

I personally voted for 2015 considering all the turmoil the team was under and how Stafford managed to stay cool, calm and collected throughout it all.

I'd even throw in 2014 into the conversation considering the comeback victories Stafford orchastarted helping us get into the playoffs.

I truly believe in my heart of hearts Stafford is hitting his prime these next 5-7 years and will be in the MVP discussion and keep the Lions a perennial playoff/Super Bowl contender as long as he's healthy. I've said it before but he reminds me of Brett Favre in how he throws the football and the passion and leadership he plays with.

List is shit and Favre should be #1

Dude had three consecutive MVPs and a Super Bowl win.

Favre was something else. He's in the discussion for Greatest QB of all time and he's neck and neck with Elway as the best QB of the 90's. I'd give a slight nod to Elway though.

When the Lions played Favre I expected us to lose and we did the vast majority of the time.

I don't get that same feeling when we play Rodgers, even as great as he is. Especially the last 3 seasons.

Holy shit she was gonna have a child with a 14 year old? And when Child Services started snooping she got an abortion?!
Did you see the craziest part. The parents knew and were okay with it...

I'd like to know.. Why they thought that this was a good idea? Jesus...

Of course you would pick the 3 years were an evil succubus has drained away all his talent.

Elway. The God.

What are the odds of being able to have the same response to two list posts that were separated by 16 years in the same day?

I cannot disagree with this post.

Farve was so much better than every other qb in the 90s.

Elway was past his prime when he started winning again in the late 90s. He still made some clutch plays, but he was not in Brent's league for most of the 90s. Troy was afraid of naked women in the hot tub. I can't decide between Steve Young and Kordell Stewart for the number 2 qb.

Brent Farve. In a league of his own.

I can't think of what is more fragile between these bullshit iPhone cords or Cavs fans.

The 3rd party cables that are good are like 1mm thicker than the Apple cables. No one gives a fuck if their cables are thin. But people get pissed when the cables are fragile as shit and don't last more than a year or so of heavy use.

Troy Aikman being rated so highly is the other crime there.

Dude had the benefit of playing on, and this will make me sick to admit, one of the greatest NFL teams ever assembled. That offensive line, running game, and receiving game was ridiculous.

I'm not saying Aikman is as shitty as a Trent Dilfer but he had a lot of help.

It's been more since the 2011 season but the last 3 years have solidified it.

From 2005-2010 the Packers swept us.

I love Olivia Munn

Plus the Godly defense the Cowboys had. Aikman was great but no way a better QB than guys like Favre, Marino, Kelly or even Kurt Warner.

They also had a beastly defense too.

If they had an elite qb they probably go undefeated one of those first two SB seasons.

Now you just need to admit that Romo is likeable as fuck!! You can do it wienke!!!

I hate the iPhone 3rd party cables. Part of my job is to keep track of all of the various iPhones/iPads my company uses as test devices, and I also have to keep them all charged. But for whatever reason, my company just buys cheap iPhone cables that don't actually do shit to charge. I think I have 1, maybe 2, legitimate cables to go around for like 10 devices

The good 3rd party cables are better than Apples in my experience.

Obviously the shit ones are iffy at best.

I have a could monoprice Lightning cables that are rock solid. Could probably run over them in a car and they'd still kick. Aside from being flimsy as hell, Apple needs to go away from the white rubber cables altogether. My MagSafe MacBook cable is not only freyed but also yellow as fuck.

I never had a problem with their laptop cables.

But I am very careful in how I wrap them up. if you stress the part near the end it will break eventually. Not sure how you made that shit yellow though scooter...

Career statistics:

Dude has a 100% completion percentage with a -1 yard average.

AND, he played in the Hangover.

Semen is ready for greatness.

Regardless of how goofy he looks, the ball he throws is the equivalent of sexual chocolate.

well he's ugly as fuck so he's definitely born to be a broncos qb

We like'em ugly. With huge dicks.

I still think your cheerleaders are hot!!!

Romo winning an owl as a back up for another team would hurt a lot. Hopefully he retires before that shit has a good chance of happening.

If he goes ringless, I hope he wins as a coach.

Then his life story becomes a movie...made by Disney.

While I agree that it would hurt I would be happy just to see him get a ring, of course if the Cowboys D can carry his corpse like the Broncos did to Manning then Romo has at least another 5 years so that would be great too! I can see him winning as a coach too, dude knows football, one of my favorite film breakdowns is the one he did for the play that was ruled not a catch (it was a catch!!) in the playoffs, dude is just so awesome <3
