I honestly think this has been one of the most frustrating times to follow politics ever.

Its not even about picking a vision or a leadership style so much as its fuck the other people.

Gerrymandering has split up the country in ways it shouldn't be.

With the parties polarizing in opposite directions, it's making the weakness of first past the post voting much more apparent since it keeps us stuck with a two party system.

If you're a liberal republican or the rare conservative democrat, you have nobody to vote for whereas in the past, candidates tended to hover closer to center.

Ez used to always go off about libertarianism in here but libertarians shouldn't be necessary if the Republicans are an actual functioning political party.

With proportional representation, our country would probably have four political parties at this point. Far left populist socialists, moderate democrats, libertarians, and republicans representing social conservatism. But yay for binary choices instead!

Gerrymandering is a means to an end, and politics has ALWAYS been about "fuck the other people".

The only difference is that the same tactics the GOP has been using for decades to win elections no longer work.

Gerrymandering helps artificially group us by racial, religious, and social economic classes when instead everyone should have an invested interest in making everyone come out on top.

Now whomever gets elected is going to have to ram rod their party through with super majority because both candidates come in with what feels like 40-50 years of political baggage.

2 things I wish to fucking heaven this country had was line item veto and fair districting with easy access to voting.

Plus I think twitter may be the single worst invention since mustard gas. It gives everyone a voice and limits their opinion to that of a byline of a newspaper.

Sadly that could also be said for the democratic party. I mean Ben Nelson influenced more about the affordable care act than any one else because he was a blue dog.

We've got serious problems to try and work through as a nation and the two issues that are getting the most airtime are people vilifying Transgender people whom most will probably never meet or recognize if they met one and building a unmanageable wall to try and keep out people whom are mostly working jobs nobody else is working.

Good morning everyone

Thank the Supreme Court for saying the President can't do that.

Thats old. A lot of those were funny but the one with Magic is inaccurate and the person who put out such an insulting tweet deserves whatever bad karma is headed his way.

John Travolta is a very handsome man. I'd take that as a complement.

It's like you 2 are yin and yang.. You complete each other.

I feel like this song defines my relationship with NFL-GAF.

I'm Albert Collins, y'all the funky back up band. Floy is dude with the mullet.
I didn't play sax.. I played trombone in high school.

And I got a black belt in recorder karate.

Don't try and put the mistakes of your generation on me.

My seed is pure and clean and could never result in a mutant Jaguars/Patriots fan.

When are you going to give Gata Snow your name?
Dega is getting his name scooter as well as the family fortune after I help him get what he deserves.

I have finally figured it out.

BG looks like Ray Farmer in real life!
