the problem is too many people on the left are like "well.. you have to EARN my vote! i'm not just going to vote!" even though the alternative to NOT voting is a million times worse (as those who did not vote are soon to learn)
The problem with the left is there is a clear social and economic divide within the party. Just like there is with the Republicans.
I do think there were a lot of Republicans who voted for Trump who couldn't stand for him due to the Supreme Court.
I think there were Democrats who didn't vote, or voted for Trump (in the rust belt) who couldn't stand Clinton that didn't care enough about the Supreme Court.
I can understand it if you are a poor white family who lives in flyover country and politicians on both sides ignored you for the last 30+ years to some degree. I live in a different world then those people so I can't judge them too harshly (though I can be pisses at the result).
What I can not understand or forgive is anyone with money, education or substance openly supporting this orange Hitler wannabe.
H1B outsourcing is pretty brutal, and its why I despise Silicon Valley. It's honestly my only solace in this election is that those assholes can get fucked.
