NFL 2016 Week 14 |OT| You Don't Own Me

Oh Fanatic...

The amount of shame and suggestions that you all put through like y'all did to Grova can't even come close to the elation I will feel if it does happen....

It will be so worth it...

God will find humor in this.. he will allow this I bet (he's allowed a lot worse)

Almost forgot to post this with all the Tannehill News....

Today marks the anniversary of when we all should have known the Pats were a bunch of cheats:

This game marks the moment when they realized they could win by cheating...and it all snowballed from there.....
lol get owned shula u old fuck!

Let's say we fire Doug after this year. Who would honestly come to coach here? Honestly?

Speaking from experience. There's only 32 head coaching jobs and they make a good amount of money. You'll get a coach but if it becomes a habit of firing coaches quickly, ppl will become weary. You probably won't get the hottest coaching names, but the position will eventually be filled. Firing someone after one year probably won't attract any one right away, but it'll happen.

If Haslam fired anyone again after a year or something, NFL might as well shut Browns down though. It's a rap

#Rams COO Kevin Demoff on firing Jeff Fisher: “Solely a performance issue. We wanted to make sure games like yesterday didn’t happen again.”

So the week 1 shutout against a (future) 1-12 team... nothing huh.

levious

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.
'tis the browns way.

I wouldn't say "no one"

And I've been there, when we beat Balt in overtime to ensure the single win back in 2007 I was so happy we stayed off the record books so believe me friend I hope you manage to get at least one as well. (We had to wait till week 13-14 too I believe)

See, I don't think that's the case.

Rob Chudzinski was highly regarded coming out of his stint with the Panthers as an offensive mind helping Cam run one of the top 10 offenses in the NFL after the Panthers fielded one of the worst offenses the year before.

Pat Shurmur had just come off of a stint with the Rams that saw Sam Bradford break all kinds of rookie records. He won the NFL Rookie of the Year award the season before under Shurmur before he was hired by the Browns.

Hue Jackson was absolutely a worthwhile candidate. He had a failed tenure as the Raiders head coach and made some dubious decisions in getting Palmer but his time with the Bengals saw them field a successful offense with Dalton at the helm. He was absolutely worthy of head coach consideration.

The problem is the Browns as an organization chews these guys up and spits them out after a season. All with no regard to progress or the constant front office changes and dysfunction present in that organization.

I'll say again, if the Eagles wanted to dump Pederson, they'd be fine. The biggest issue isn't whether you dump your head coach and the optics behind that. Its whether Howie Roseman is still in charge of front office and who does or does not want to work with him.

Fair point, you're right I can agree with that. I guess the bolded is actually my point but you said it better than I did. I'm just worried about starting a cycle of getting rid of coaches to quickly. If we toss Doug out after one year, and get another coach who doesn't hit the ground running, do we throw them out after one year too? And if not, why not? You can get rid of a coach after one year, but they'd have to be awful. And I don't think Doug is awful. Or at least there isn't enough evidence. If this team had the same record currently, but with no injuries/suspensions then I'd agree with firing him immediately. But given everything I think he deserves one more year to figure things out.

Yeah obviously it would get filled I was more talking about the quality of the coach. And if they attracted a bad coach that was also out after a year it becomes a cycle. Hue might break that for the browns tho

I think Fisher gonna be named head coach of the Jags in about 3 weeks. Bortles will have his first winning season next year. 9-7 hype.

PFF really fucking baffles me sometimes. Flowers was rated as the 4th best offensive player on the giants last night behind richberg, obj, and newhouse. He didn't even look like the 4th best offensive lineman for the giants last night. They need to figure out something to do with this kid because he looks completely lost at left tackle. Maybe he could make it as a right tackle but I'm starting to think his future is at right guard.

In the Harbs/Flacco era, the Patriots lead the series between the two teams 5-3 with an average final score of 26-24.

I expect a gutwrenching game. Go Ravens.

Brady sucks against the Ravens so they are losing unless Lewis and White go Ham in the passing game. Blount shouldn't even be used once unless they get to the goal line.
