I'd do the Alshon deal for a 2nd too.

You already have your QB of the future, now lets get him weapons.

Plus the following are probably coming off the books this offseasosn:

Barwin, Kendricks, Mathews, Peters, and possibly Sproles. Close to 30M per year right there.

Hmmm, listening to Giant Bomb talk about World of Final Fantasy and I might have to pick it up at some point
I feel like they got me a little hype to play Dragon Quest Builders. Haven't listened to the newest podcast yet, don't really know anything about World.

Jeff McLane from the Philadelphia Inquirer is saying the no team would be able to extend Jeffery in season due to Jeffery's franchise tag.

Yeah that seems interesting too. I'm not too into Minecraft but the structure seems interesting, the combat just seems like it would get a little boring for me. But same, all I knew about World was Chibi characters and classic turn based battle system. But Brad talked about how it's sort of like pokemon, you catch FF creatures and they fight alongside you with a weird battle system where you can physically stack them on top of each other, and it is sort of like Kingdom Hearts where they create original characters to play as and classic FF characters are NPCs that you meet throughout the game. Early impressions but it sounds interesting.

Highest I'll go is a 3rd. Hopefully it only takes a 4th

I don't want to live in a world where Cleveland wins 2 titles in a span of four months.
All in 2015/2016
Stipe Miocic - UFC Heavy Weight Champ
Cleveland Monsters (AHL hockey) - Champs
Cavs - Champs
Indians - possible
Browns - lolllolololol

The dream of 8-8 is still alive, and isn't that truly the greatest championship of all?

Jay Cutler on having John Fox's support: 'He doesn't have a choice'

As Jay Cutler slung footballs to receivers at Halas Hall on Tuesday morning, whether he returned to that position as the beneficiary of circumstance or just fortuitous timing mattered less than the simple fact he was back on the practice field, recovered from the sprained right thumb that sidelined him for five weeks.

In the big picture, though, it's impossible not to wonder whether Cutler's days on those fields are numbered.

Nine games remain. For Cutler, the future beyond that holds more questions than answers.

Bears coach John Fox, in several media sessions during Cutler's absence, highlighted that uncertainty by publicly opening the starting quarterback position to backup Brian Hoyer.

Cutler can't account yet for his path beyond this season. But in the interest of keeping the Bears a functional team for the duration of this disappointing season, his return Tuesday brought attention to the question of whether Fox supports him.

"He doesn't have a choice, I guess, at this point," Cutler said. "Brian is out, so I've got to go."

That's my quarterback
for now

If Pace trades Jeffrey... I honestly don't know. If the guy really wants to walk, I don't see how Pace has a choice. I just hope he gets a 2nd or 3rd plus another pick. Jeffrey is an amazing receiver, and is more than worth it.

The whole QB "controversy" was nonsense. Hoyer was trash, he just put up a bunch meaningless stats in garbage time or against bad defenses. He constantly missed open guys and couldn't throw it past 10 yards. We only got field goals instead of touchdowns because Hoyer can't throw it in tight spaces in the redzone. Unless the guy was wide open, he either missed the throw badly or it was batted away. Jay was always going to be the starter. It sucks that the oline was starting to play better is all banged up and now they get to go against the Vikings and Jay will probably look bad. But I guess it can't be helped. At least there won't be any calls for Hoyer to come in since he's hurt.

I don't think Jeffrey is getting traded but honestly one 3rd round pick isn't enough. It needs to be a 2nd and a 3rd. They would also need to sign Jeffrey long term if they are going to give anything up and I don't see that happening in the middle of the season. Jeffery is going to want top 5 receiver money so that's probably around $60-$70 million with $30 million guaranteed. I'm not sure what the Eagles cap situation is but they would probably need to free up that kind of room. I just don't see that happening in the middle the season. I honestly want the Bears to resign him. I think we are probably going to go after a qb in the draft and it would be good if he a guy like Alshon to throw to.

Texans – Broncos, And More Obvious Osweiler Takes: In A Nutshell

The night is pretty f*cking dark and full of terrors when it comes to the Houston Texans. And just like Stannis Baratheon wound up being a huge disappointment, Brock Osweiler is too. He is ruining professional football in Houston.

Here are the things that he did well Monday night:

He didn’t get sacked
He didn’t throw an interception. Finally.
He audibled to successful runs on a few third downs
And he had a couple of nice scrambles
But outside of that, he was just an abomination. He was way off on all of his throws downfield, most of which were designed and intended for DeAndre Hopkins (NOT Will Fuller for some reason). Hell, he was missing guys that were open within 10 yards. The only throws that worked were typically check downs for 5 yards or less.

Osweiler has a very cool demeanor both off the field and between plays. And he supposedly has a short memory. Yet his pocket presence is Blaine Gabbert-esque, his footwork resembles me dancing whilst intoxicated (I injured my knee the last time I did that), and he can’t make easy throws.

I don’t really have much more to say on this team. They’re 4-3. And they’re in control of a bad division. So if you’re hoping for changes, sorry. They aren’t coming. Which leaves you three options:

To bail on the team and jump on a bandwagon
To completely check out for the rest of the Brock Osweiler era
Or to somehow stay patient and hope for the best.
You might need a straitjacket and a lot of drinks to keep yourself sane with that third option.

There’s a lot of season left. But I’m out of patience and positive spins. On to Detroit, I guess.

I'd also point out the love fest after the game the article mentioned. The Broncos talked trash the entire off season and you go out there hugging like its nothing.

I was openly not a fan of Osweiler but I was happy the team did something and hoped O'Brien could do something with him. Damn was I ever wrong

2016: best year ever?

I personally promise to never post in NFLGAF again if both Ohio and PA go to Trump

I'm both that confident it will not happen, and certain that a L that massive and Grova-like will shame me into extinction
Fuck I can't believe that I have to root for trump to win both Ohio and pa.
