Sunday's game will feature the #Texans--worst offense in the league by DVOA--against the #Lions--worst defense in the league.

Flex it to Sunday Night!!

Tim McManus @Tim_McManus
Eagles coach Doug Pederson says there is no legitimacy to trade rumors linking them to wide receivers.

I think this pretty much confirms Alshon to the Eagles.

I'd rather him than Torrey Smith, but frankly I don't think they should do either deal. Torrey Smith is just not that good, and Alshon would be a half season rental.

Regardless of what the rules say, I don't think this deal get done without a deal in place. So if we do trade for him, I'd fully expect him here long term.

Alshon Jeffrey is going to get pretty decent money and I don't think the Eagles cap situation is such that they can afford him. If they do, you can say good by to Bennie Logan. As is, I would bet that Brandon Graham is going to sit out camp next year asking for a better contract. You can't be one of the highest ranked edge defenders and make only $7m per year. Connor Barwin gets paid more and produces far less.

MS is hitting it out of the park with their new hardware.

Really impressed with their desktop and the 16 hour battery life claims of their laptop.

Apple pay attention.

Eagles vs Cowboys week. What are the pre-game numbers/polls looking like? Naturally it means nothing in the end but always fun to speculate.

Yeah, but Barwin will likely be released or traded. Kendricks will also be gone. And, of course, Bradford will be totally off the books. That should free up enough money to make a run at Alshon and still take care of some of our own guys.

Dont forget the Xbox one either. Thing is such an amazing system.
Eh.

I bought a PS4 and I don't think I ever played it.

I think I should have gotten a Wii U.

Switch is my future along with my arcade that I am probably going to order next month.

Don't give a fuck about Xbox, but I am really impressed with MS's engineering on their new products. Hopefully this stirs Apple to up their game.

The Bradford point is a good one, that will indeed free up a decent amount of camp money. I'm all for dealing for Alshon Jeffrey given the Eagles inability to draft quality WRs.

Landon Collins is the NFC Defensive Player of the Week. Well deserved for him.

He's been awesome, even without Thompson back there. Although they should get Thompson back vs. the Eagles and that will get Adams off the base defense.

Either way it's going to come down to the OL and DL.

You're probably right, but if they cut Peters, Mathews, Barwin and Kendricks, they'd have $28M in space. Hell if they wait till June to cut Kendricks they get $32M in space. At the least I'm expecting Peters and Barwin to be gone, and hopefully Kendricks too. Not necessarily going after Jeffery, but they have room to shed older players.

I'd say Cowboys are favorites, especially at home. Much better offense and their defense has been playing better than expected

I think the game will depend largely on what Eagles defense shows up.

Barwin can be released, but Kendricks really can't. First because they don't have any known quantities at LB to replace him, and second because he'll have $5m dead money and you only save $1m. Cutting Barwin gives them $13m in cap space next season. Alshon Jeffrey would be probably the best FA receiver available as he's young and productive. He's projected at something like $12m/year right now. Let's suppose they also cut Peters and have $25m in cap to work with. How do you pay Bennie Logan and Alshon Jeffrey next season with $25m? Then look at the other FAs they have. Jon Dorenbos is still a great specialist and needs to be signed. Nolan Carroll is a FA and they have no replacement. Caleb Sturgis needs a new contract. Jaylen Watkins is definitely worth holding on to. I can't see them making a big splashy hire like the top FA wide receiver next year and have much left to work with.

Definitely. Eagles tend to play well in Dallas, and even going back to the previous two years when they were in the 3-4 with a bad DC, the Eagles DL has generally done well against Cowboys OL. And an elite D will almost always beat an elite O. Just depends on if they show up, and how the run D does. Washington figured out how to beat the Eagles run D with a lot of sweeps and screens to the outside. Dallas tends to mostly keep it between the tackles so that plays into the Eagles strength, but if they line up Zeke out wide he can gash us
