Man, looking back it that 2014 QB class is actually really depressing.
Bortles - Not the best QB, Drafted first. Will likely be a career backup sooner rather than later.
Manziel - Worst QB drafted, went second, busted out and likely to never play again.
Bridgewater - Better than the two drafted before him, freak injury keeps him out over a year. Likely to never play to the same level again.
Carr - Better than the previous three combined, injury prone, future uncertain.
Than you have career bench riders in Garappolo, McCarron, Murray, and Thomas. Savage was given a shot and is now probably on his way to being a career water boy. Mettenberger isn't even in the league anymore after the Titans had to start him a few times out of desperation, same with Fales (who most people have never even hear of anyways).
So yah, you have two immediate starters that went later than they should have but are being ruined by injuries, a backup level QB (IMO) that went way to soon, a swarm of other backups, and one dolt that was highly touted and went out to be humiliated on the field, make an ass of himself off, and then never be seen again.

He's better than most give him credit for, the guy had an offensive line that couldn't protect him and a miserable core of WRs. Hard to put up impressive stats in that situation.

Lol @ bridgewater wasnt that good. Last time we saw him play he was like 22 years old. Give him some time to develop, QBs dont just come out the draft ready to light things up.

Same here. But rain would benefit us, I think. A sloppy game could help mask our weakness (secondary). The Cards can't run the ball.
I guess like all fans, I get nervous when we're unanimous favorites. Smallwood was a good checkdown on 3rd down. And gotta hope the DL can still wreck shit without Cox
