Man can't believe that Dallas got Byron Jones. After not getting MM that's who I thought Eagles would pick up at 20.

Fuck I liked him better than any WR left on the board.

I'm not up on the Lions twitter scene much, are people really that upset about this? This gives us a solid young core in the middle of the line with Tomlinson, Swanson, and Warford, plus we get ManRam for some veteran depth. Our tackle situation is still kind of up in the air but this helps everyone we happen to bring in to the RB-corps.

Yeah, I'm seeing a few "Only the Lions are dumb enough to trade for a guard and draft one, lol" posts from folks.

The Lions media loves the pick. People who are upset are mostly angry we passed over Brown.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Glad for Laken Tomlinson as he seems like a great kid, but there was a shot he would have been there in the 2nd round. Not pleased about that.

Could help the running game, though.

LJ, what are your thoughts on Nelson Agholor?

I like him man, he's a solid receiver, can get you some yards after the catch. I thought he played fast too, not super shifty but good enough. Reminds me of Robert Woods, but faster/smoother.

This Laken Tomlinson interview....

I really liked Tomlinson before the draft but thought he'd go in the second round. Either way I love that he was the Best Player on the Lions board and we took him.

Laken models his game after Larry Warford and will be playing opposite of Larry Warford now.

Offensive line depth is now taken care of. Mayhew is a genius.

Question for the Lions going forward is which WR or RB we are targeting. When you have a franchise QB you can never have to many weapons.

This Laken Tomlinson interview....

:')

Too bad he wasn't picked by a team I liked, but its still great to see a Duke football player drafted, in the first round no less.

We still have two left with Crowder and Cofield. Crowder should be tomorrow, Cofield will probably be a 6-7 rounder. I heard the Panthers worked out Crowder so who knows.

Laken Tomlinson's interview was great. Sounds like a real good young man. He's also a fan of Larry Warford so I'd imagine they'll get along well. Hopefully Tomlinson pans out as well as Warford has for us.

Now we can be pretty flexible in the coming rounds. I'd love to get a solid RB in the third round if possible. I'm a Jeremy Langford fan.
