Cardale is interesting. He's good outside the hashes, strikes it deep, keeps his eyes downfield, but when it comes to anticipating throws over the middle, you're fucked. Fits what Roman does with Tyrod, but I don't think Roman wants to work the outside exclusively, dealing with limitations.

I think this a vote of confidence for Tyrod, happy for him. Whaley doesn't even see him as a 2 in year 1, Cardale is a 3 and we'll see how he comes along, Whaley paraphrase. They feel he doesn't have an enough experience to actually have bad traits/habits, raw and they can mold him. Think Waldman said some similar things. Happy for TT, and I hope they work out a reasonable deal.
