Wrong answer, it's me. Unfortunately I'm not on a team that drafts people solely based on how fast they can run the 40 yard dash so I can't blast it down the middle of the field as hard as I want.

Also, I'm a punter, what do I have to get stressed about? Other than the fact that I could lose my job every time I go out on the field if I have a bad kick. Harumph I say.

When you listen to fans/talking heads criticize special teams play, do you just nod you head and ignore it?

Most frustrating thing about football as a fan, is the more I research the nuances, the more I realize that shit you do is crazy complicated.

Basically yeah. Unless you've been a part of special teams, it's hard to understand everything that goes into it, and unfortunately the announcers/talking heads don't show any inclination to want to learn. Every time a kick is returned for a touchdown it's gotta be the kicker/punter's fault; granted sometimes it is our fault, but sometimes it isn't.
