Why the Falcons no trying to keep Curtis Lofton?
Detroit will welcome you with arms wide open Lofton. Please leave Atlanta and come to Detroit!
Why the Falcons no trying to keep Curtis Lofton?
Crazy rumor going round that NE is after Moss like the Saints and Niners. Dunno how that's supposed to work out, but he can't be worse than Ocho at this point.
I doubt we can afford Lofton. Damn
I haven't kept up with the Saints/Raiders part of the story outside of them being penalized for 2010 "cap violations"...explain?
I doubt we can afford Lofton. Damn
With the restructuring of the contracts, especially Megatron (as Wedge said), I think we'll be ok. There are so many ways to work around the cap, plus we got a bonus 1.6 mil from our NFC East bros. Its possible and Detroit could be appealing to him based on the teams ascension last year. And if Sanchez can get a 40 million extension, we can find a way to make room!!
Please come to Detroit Curtis!
The Washington Redskins have received no written documentation from the NFL concerning adjustments to the team salary cap in 2012 as reported in various media outlets. Every contract entered into by the club during the applicable periods complied with the 2010 and 2011 collective bargaining agreements and, in fact, were approved by the NFL commissioners office. We look forward to free agency, the draft and the coming football season.
I had promised myself not to get any hopes up for free agency.....
Now I've let the hype train take me.
I hate you Tennessee Titans. I hate you so hard right now.
Edit - And if you get Manning, I demand you give us Jake Locker in compensation for Bud Adams insane interference.

Yea that would be too good to be true, I refuse to get my hopes up lol. but oh man...
Snyder has no problem suing old ladies and newspapers, he will have a field day with this. There is no way if this ends up in court that the NFL will win.Ænima;35965259 said:Bruce Allen (Redskins GM) is saying these salary cap reports are bogus.

Yeah the league has no ground to stand on here. The Cowboys released a similar statement.Snyder has no problem suing old ladies and newspapers, he will have a field day with this. There is no way if this ends up in court that the NFL will win.
"The Dallas Cowboys were in compliance with all league salary cap rules during the uncapped year. We look forward to the start of the free agency period where our commitment to improving our team remains unchanged."
Curtis is a great locker room guy and he does a decent job of getting around blocks, but I can see why we let him loose. He's not worth top tier money as a middle linebacker. He's not terrible in coverage, but you can tell he's a step behind - plus he gives up some height.
At the same time, I'm not thrilled about Lofa. Never been impressed with him, plus he's coming off major injury.

Where did you see that?Crazy rumor going round that NE is after Moss like the Saints and Niners. Dunno how that's supposed to work out, but he can't be worse than Ocho at this point.
.
Basically. He wants top tier MLB money and he's not a top tier MLB. We have other glaring concerns and just can't afford to tie up alot of money at that position.
Word has it we are trying to free of money to make a run a Mario Williams, but I don't know if I like that. I would rather us make a serious run at Nicks.
Where did you see that?
What can I say? bluemax was right all along.![]()
At one time they were 20+ million over the cap. Not to mention the overpaying they've done over the years which McKenzie is working to rectify.Autumn Wind said:So I'm not sure what is going on with the Raiders.
that's hilarious and damn they get paid like shit lol
I am ready. Pey Pey is coming to Denver!Get ready guys.

Supposedly Chicago is the front runner for Mario. It'd be nice if the Falcons were able to manage to get both him and Nicks though.
Flynn is this year's version of Kevin Kolb, and the Dolphins are better off not signing him. Moore is probably a better QB than he is anyway.Flynn to the Browns? Miami needs a new GM like, now, seriously.
MOSS IS BOSS
Filed to ESPN: 49ers reached agreement on a one-year deal with wide receiver Randy Moss.
I smell another 1-15 season. Someone kill me, please
New T-Shirt Design?NFL-gaf mods are best mods. Thank heavens Wellie gave up the red.
And someone warn FMT.
Everytime I see DCX post, I will now think of this:
