i don't think julio was worth what they gave up but it wasn't like he was a flop. he had a good season but didn't help them in the playoffs. i put that more on the coaching than anything else

I'd love for the Rams to resign Lloyd and get Stevie Johnson. Fisher has said that he's targeting football players, not choir boys (a dig at Spags). I really don't think Blackmon is the guy Rams fans think he is. Would rather target DL and OL with draft.

If they go after Innegan I'll be writing a very angry post on the internet. He's got the instincts to be a great safety, but he's just not big enough (and he's also a little bitch)

I'm very curious to see what the Texans are gonna do this offseason. On one hand they need a number 2 WR, but you also have Kareem Fucking Jackson as the weak link on defense. Every QB eats him alive. This season they play Flynn,Stafford, and Tammi. All 3 will most likely destroy Jackon's will to play the game. Which could be a good thing.

Bears need to pick up VJ or Bowe... but knowing them they'll either sign Braylon Edwards or keep Roy Williams and say they're happy with who they have

Well obviously that guy from Miami they drafted will take over, even if he never saw the field last year.

A team with Melo and Amare and this is what it's come to huh

Like I said the Knicks balance things out quite nicely

Incarcerated Bob is saying that a deal is 90% done with the Bills, which means he's as good as gone.

Was watching clips of him route running, dude puts DBs to sleep, snaps off his route really well.

Also watched clips, all 22, Pats/Bills game 1, Donald Jones was shredding that secondary with double moves, my god he was wide the fuck open on a number of occasions. There's a reason they won't give fans 22 film.

like anyone in new york gives a shit about basketball. baseball/football town

Been watching games lately, not just Knicks games, NBA is dog shit. How this shit entertains anyone at this point is beyond me.

Good evening ahem ahem Good evening.

In less than an 9 months, players from the States will join others from around the country in New England. And they will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. "Mankind." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the sixth of Februari, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom and a Super Bowl victory...

Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from losing football games. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, Super Bowl Sunday will no longer be known as a New England holiday, but as the day the United States of America declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night!" We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our
future
SUPER BOWL VICTORY!

Kendall wright will be the likely pick. Will tear apart d's that double team AJ. Likely 4.35-4.4 speed.

The bes cb on the board would be alfonso denard and i wouldnt touch him till mid 2nd
has horrible recovery speed an will be get beat deep.

TE would also be an option
This.

Ravens would be dumb not to at least try, I know Flacco didn't fuck up in the title game but had the texans had Schaub . RIP in the second round to the Ravens.

We have way to many FAs to sign. With Rice Grubbs Webb we wouldnt have the cap space unless he comes in and take 3mil with incentives.

Don't really see how Julio "choked in the spotlight."

Matt Ryan though? Without a doubt. I certainly won't argue that.

If our defense did not need players so badly, I would be all for ditching Ryan and trying again. The guy is pretty much Alex Smith without the coaching turmoil to fall back on as an excuse. Serviceable, but you are not going to win anything with him.

Oh well..here is to a few more years of being just good enough to fuck yourselves out of decent draft picks.

Big off season for lions. Not much room in the cap and big decisions for many free agents. Expect our last year draft to finally play a part this year.

Offseason wish list

Apparently the draft doesn't look too good for OLBs. Find a DT who can get some push in the first few rounds. A decent FA signing as well is going to be a must. Pickett is getting older, Raji can jump off a bridge, and Mike Neal is the new Justin Harrell
probably harsh
.

To go away from the obvious which is the nonexistent pass rush, safety is going to be a priority as well if Collins can't come back. That's going to suck. Lots of people think Woodson will move back, but I really think "linebacker" (something close to the LOS in the middle of the field like he does now; whatever title you want to give it) is a better non-corner position for him to play because that;s where he excels. Burnett is going to be a fine safety imo but he's unreliable. He makes some impressive plays, and then is completely out of position the next (I guess that's an indictment on our whole D last year). We need another solid player at either safety or corner. Tramon will return to form next year but he's not a big impact player imo.

Seems like we have a nice stable of ILBs which is promising. Of course that area of the field was where we were weakest against the pass, but I think that's the same across most of the league. I'm cool with that for now.

Offensively I really can't think of anything that's really needed. Offensive line was really impressive this year imo. On a semi negative note, for all the hype around our TEs none of them were that impressive, Finley super-hate aside. RB was fine, I thought Grant turned it on at the end of the year in all facets.

We do need a few more receivers though.
I wish Robert Mathis had had a crappier year.

Apart from the obvious problem
passrushpassrushpassrush damn it didn't appear
, we need a big hitter in the secondary. Burnett and Peprah don't scare anybody. Get well, Nick Collins!

Think LeRoy Butler. Woodson is going to be a fucking Godly SS.
Or Polamalu, but don't tell the rest of Packers-GAF I said that oh god damn it

Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno was arrested for driving under the influence.

FOX 31 in Denver reports that Moreno was pulled over by Denver Police on February 1st for driving 70 miles an hour in a construction zone where the limit was 45 miles an hour. The officer smelled alcohol and Moreno failed a roadside sobriety test, according to the report. Moreno was driving a Bentley convertible with license plates reading “SAUCED.”

The Broncos issued a statement acknowledging the arrest and saying they were looking into it.

“We take the incident involving Knowshon Moreno very seriously and are thoroughly reviewing this matter,” the statement said. “Our organization will continue to gather information and closely monitor this issue while the legal process runs its course.”

Moreno, the 12th overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft, is coming off a disappointing season in which he gained just 179 yards in seven games before being lost for the year to a torn ACL in November.
