NFL Offseason Thread 2015 |OT2| Home of Baseball, Anime, Cricket, and Magic Johnson

So the Rams will get rid of Bradford, get ready to tank the season prior to leaving St. Louis and just to add insult to injury Bradford will stay healthy and look like a competent NFL QB in Buffalo.

Fuck sports.

I would love it if the Bills traded for Sam Bradford and had EJ Manuel as their insurance policy. I don't think it's a bad move at all, given the terrible free agent crop and their lack of a 1st round pick, but I don't think it would work out well if it happened.

Obviously depends on the price but yeah, definitely not laughable.

You can have Kyle Wilson, I highly recommend the kid.

No thanks. If we don't resign Kareem I see them using pick #16 on a CB. Funny just a few years ago Kareem was Texans fans favorite person to tear apart. Finally got some good coaching (fuck you Frank Bush!) and became pretty damn good. Turned that corner in 2012 when he shut down Calvin Johnson in the second half of that Lions game after Johnson put up 86 yards in the first half with a rotating secondary. Kareem shadowed him in the second half and he had 16 yards

Tough physical corner who is not afraid to hit someone.

Trae Waynes might be a hell of an addition to the Texans defense if he's there at 16. Marcus Peters is supposed to be the most talented corner in the draft, but I wonder if he's too much of a knucklehead for BOB.

I've seen him mocked there quite a few times but since the combine he gets picked higher and does not last till 16. Need free agency to hurry up and get here because there has been jackshit leaked as to what the Texans are going to do. So many damn questions!

Olberman suspsended for this.

Look I take shots after PSU all the time, but Olbermann was/is a complete douche and deserved to be suspended over this.

PSU students are pitiful because they are PSU students? I mean, I get the disgust with the athletics and fans of the athletics department, but there are 100,000 students at Penn State, a large portion of which don't give a shit about sports and care about academia.

Projected contract for Darrelle Revis from Mike Reiss: Five years, $80 million ($16 million signing bonus, $42 million in first three years). $16M APY would make Revis the highest paid corner in the league. I like it.

Just first rounders or what?

Just first rounders or what?

It has to be first rounders with the Giants having 12 picks in that time period (stuff like Philip Rivers/Eli Manning throws this analysis off).

edit.

Oopp 94-96 was a dark dark time in Giants history with Thomas Lewis, Tyrone Wheatley, and Cedric Jones being drafted back to back to back.

Man

So the Giants First Rounders in 91-96 went

91. Jarrod Bunch
92. Derek Brown
93. None (wasted on Dave Brown
94. Thomas Lewis
95. Tyrone Wheately
96. Cedric Jones.

How the hell is George Young a candiate for the HOF with those picks.

5 years?!

I had to look it up, he's only 29. Shit. OK that would be awesome. Thought he was like 33 or 34

Used to love watching him and Dan Patrick growing up...then he went to MSNBC and showed what kind of person he truly was...

Hopefully it gets wrapped up soon so they can move on to other contracts like McCourty. My prediction sure to go wrong: Wilfork won't be on the team next year, I'm guessing they are going to ask him to take a pay cut, but he won't.

So all those people who bought Manziel jerseys last year already have throw backs. Brilliant.

All Kave does is win!
except in his team support

Incredibly Naive
mrstd lives under a rock

i just googled dez and it came up lol. i have no idea how i missed this. was in Orlando all weekend and the only thing worth watching has been espn yet somehow no word of this. also was paying in here quite a bit didn't see it mentioned mustve missed it. (btw disney or universal? i wanna make a vs. thread)

that being said i honestly haven't followed dez news at all since i figured it was a given he would be resigned. same reason i hadn't heard anything about the cobb to carolina rumors, no chance he leaves gb.
