Awesome that Revis went to the Jets, specifically! This just exponentially increased the odds that Cro comes back to us. His preference was the Jets because his family prefers living there and now the only other team besides us he's considering is Dallas and I don't see them throwing money his way. Obviously there are worse things, but when you have a guy like Brady you have to capitalize on the time you have. If it turns out the Jets gave Revis some insane offer and NE made a solid one that just wasn't enough, I'll get it. If it turns out the team was quibbling over a few million, that's ridiculous.

I mean yeah I can understand not wanting to pay THAT much money but I thought Revis was the most important player on defense. I would think it would be kind of worth it.

I know nothing though and I have no idea on the cap situation for the Pats. It's just weird to hear how great it was for Brady to restructure his contract so that the Pats get more cap space, yet they don't use it.
