The idea of you participating in a workplace potluck is humorous to me.

Do you want to be the guy who eats a potluck without bringing something?

I do spend 12hrs a night with these people, they're almost like family nowadays. It was worse on a rig, when I was stuck with an immature partner (virgin), and a different nurse everyday.

I don't typically participate in potlucks, as I don't trust food prepared in home kitchens I've never seen. On occasion, I am forced to. Recently, we did a huge "open house potluck" where our whole team picked a theme and everyone from everywhere comes to eat and meet us. It's some team building bullshit. Our team theme was "Food around the world", each row had a country like Italy, Mexico, etc and brought the appropriate food. My whole row is contractors, so they all live in hotels and have no kitchens, and I couldn't give a fuck, so I picked America for our theme. We got like 50 McDonalds cheeseburgers, McD's Apple Pies, McNuggets, KFC, Cheetos, Funyuns, Twinkees, and both Mountain Dew, and Mountain Dew Code Red.

That is how I potluck. Note: Our row was a huge success.

Did Josh Freeman try to rob you? Fuckin fat fucks.

If you tried to go America theme, you do BBQ, you unpatriotic mongrel.

I bought some Utz.

I got the Cheaapeake Bay kind which is like if Ben forced himself upon Brady in a bathroom stall and got her preggers, I think.

Going to NYC today.

I hope Wellie doesn't smash a laptop over my head and steal my money.
NYC is so expensive that they don't need to rob you that way. Just spend a few hours in a bar or club trying to attract a cute girl and you will wish Wellie mugged you when you see your credit card bill.

A friend recommended to me Europa Report, which is on Netflix. It's low budget but well done sci-fi. I would have never thought to watch it had it not been recommended. Nothing fantastic but in the times of no football, it's good

Right now i'm watching Doctor Who 2005 and Friday Night Lights. FNL is a surprisingly good show, very cursory football references though.

Keep up with Doctor Who 2005 ! I'll admit there's some corny episodes but some very good ones too. The ups and downs are kinda fun for me though. Let me know what you think! I didn't get hooked until a couple episodes in

Man I dont know what comcast did but there are all of a sudden free xfinity hotspots for me to connect to everywhere.

All of their cable modems broadcast with that extra wifi ssid.

Essentially you're using someone else's connection to connect to the internet.

And there's no way to turn it off yourself.

Indeed. I really liked it.

So tonight is the night that the NBA fixes the lottery to make sure the Sixers dont get a top 2 pick. Cant wait to see the Celtics and Lakers defy the odds and get the top 2 picks.

Well my home cable modern doesn't have wifi so it's not affecting my connection...but man I've had wifi like everywhere now it just autoconnects me. I don't feel bad about it here because it's probably my companies modem and they won't give out the wifi password.

You mean like how the Celtics got the worst possible pick with Duncan and Durant in the draft with the best odds..

New Yorkers where should I go in your city?

Might go see Book of Mormon outside of that and the Statue of Happiness, my day is totally open.

I remember when the Bobcats (eww) got fucked over when the league had to secure Anthony Davis to the team they owned (and were trying to sell) in New Orleans. Good times
