NFL Offseason Thread |OT4| Cheaters Cheat.

So it seems the Brady thread is finally filled solely with Pats homers working round the clock to exonerate him.

Generally Pats-Age in here are good people who are for the most part realistic and honest about their team. Even Gata sometimes.

I just have the working assumption that all of the lifelongs who only post in the football-related OT topics because NFL-GAF is "too hostile" are marks who should be avoided at all costs. I haven't even opened that Brady suspension thread and don't plan on it.

I got banned in the last Pats OT thread.

Maybe I'm playing it too close to the chest.

Bucs get an anniversary patch this season too.

So I take it the guy who called himself the Deflator texted a comment about not going to the media yet in reference to his weight loss...right? Fucking Pats

This is really a bad look for the Patriots. After complaining about wasteful spending on the Ballghazi report, they go ahead and pay millions to their own lawyers to produce a rebuttal that a third grader could have written. He was joking about losing weight? Who do they think we are, Republicans? NFL fans probably have a lower average intelligence than even the average American, but that would have to be combined with crazy homerism to buy this bullshit.

Because their entire argument is equivalent to "there's no murder weapon with DNA on it so it's impossible to know what happened." lol ..... oddly enough the same defense Hernandez's lawyers used....

I pretty sure that defense it used in most murder cases under the same circumstances.

I love that moment that comes in every athlete controversy where they can either own up to their cheating or double down with hilariously implausible excuses. The longer the lie goes on the better it gets.

I agree.

The compromise should be that we suffer no penalties, but agree to start Jimmy G for the rest of the season. I think it's fair.
But then you would have the superior QB for all 16 games... that doesn't seem fair.

Force Tebow to start for the Patriots. That seems like a fair punishment. They need God to help them with their evil ways.

Fucking printer manufacturer cunts, why should I have to put in a magenta cartridge to be able to print in black and white? Fucking money grabbing shitbags. Bad enough I have to learn bullshit like the rule of law and constitutional conventions for an exam tomorrow but now I can't even print off shit to help me study?

Also, what the fuck is magenta and what is it doing in my printer?

EDIT: p.s. Fuck the Pats.

p.p.s. You think we're going to believe that "deflate" was what he called his Weight Watchers plan? :jnc

Printing things out? What year is it, 1995?

Thats why I just replaced our printer with a laser printer. Laser all in one is only like 99-125 for a good model now.

Yeah, in the middle of my ranting and swearing at my printer I decided I'd do the same thing over the summer. Get a middle of the range laser printer and get cheap third party toner cartridges. 99% of the stuff I print is black and white anyway

Hahah yeah, circumstances like the defendant is guilty as fuck and you have nothing else to argue otherwise.

Im not sure what you are trying to argue, with me here... but lets go on: Yeah, even in cases where the defendant is really innocent, Why is it a problem to use the defense of non exiting evidence? I really fail to see the logic where someone using lack of evidence as defense directly means this person is guilty. Note that Im not even talking about Brady or Patriots, just the overall logic been used.

Not to mention the oddly used by you doesn't apply given is it not odd, even if the defendant is guilty.

Lardarious Webb, Jimmy Smith and Kyle Arrington. Pretty nice secondary.

What studs are you trotting out there next year?

Whether or not we have any potential studs in the mix remains to be seen. We will be considerably better on the backend by default this year without the geriatrics holding down the fort. Of course, that's with all due respect to Troy's contributions as the greatest safety in NFL history.

Tom Brady, the saint he is, was offering support to the poor ballboy who had so far not been mentioned or blamed at all for the illegal deflation that Tom himself was completely unaware of. Actual fanfiction isn't this bad!

I used "oddly" as a sarcastic reference to the fact that they are both guilty lol, sorry you didn't get that. And there's nothing wrong with using that defense in a vacuum, but under these circumstances it doesn't really help.

Romo getting after it this off-season.

Romo said:
Just the ability to have an offseason – I haven’t had that in a few years. It’s been just about rehab and maintaining. When you’re doing that, it’s what you have to do when you come back from surgery. But you don’t really strengthen. If anything, you’re just trying to find a way to manage it and be at your best at specific times of the year.

I’m really able to push it a little bit right now, which has been exciting with the legs, the upper body and some of the stuff I haven’t been able to do for two, two and a half, three years.

Pats response tells us that the team is not going to pursue legal action. If they were they would not have wanted to lay out their arguemant--Joe Banner Twitter

it would be incredibly stupid for any of the 32 NFL owners to sue, even when they had a very strong case (Jerrah/Snyder), so much shit that they don't want the public to see.

I cant believe the Wells Report is slandering the Patriots because an employee is overweight. It's in line with their long history of discrimination such as lack of African American coaches and racist coaches like Chip Kelly.
