Still scrambling to find an answer at RT with the Beatty injury. Marshall Newhouse is not the answer.

Didn't even realize Marshall Newhouse was still in the league to be honest.

I think they'll choke like they did in the Seattle game.

Either way, the Packers will still be relevant and your team will be sitting at home in January you cheating ass biiiiiiiiiiittcchhhhhhh

It is an empty promise, they will all have abandoned ship by then.

Cowboys News.

@AaronWilson_NFL
Cowboys place Ryan Williams on injured reserve

@AaronWilson_NFL
Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Mincey not reporting to training camp at this time under current terms, according to a league source

Williams was waived then placed on IR.
Mincey was set to make 1.5 million this year. Had 6 sacks and 37 hurries last year.

Find it hard to believe he had a plea bargain on the table and walked away for it. This shit wasn't worth it for Brady. He's not going to win.

This is totally bizarre and worth the read on Chip Kelly and the Philly media

http://mobile.philly.com/sports/eagles/?wss=/philly/sports/eagles&id=319127811

Asked about satisfying the interest of the ticket-and-merchandise-buying public in who he is, Kelly said: "I look at it from the Navy SEALs point of view, 'I do not advertise the nature of my work, nor do I seek recognition for my actions.' "

This was a little more than a month before a Washington Post reporter uncovered the fact that Kelly, long depicted as never having been married, actually was married for seven years in the '90s to a woman who now lives in the D.C. area.

That "married to football" thing has been around him for like 10 years, or whenever he started at Oregon. So strange he never corrected it, and that it took so long for the media to figure it out. It's kind of a really unsettling thing he never addressed it, actually

Almost as bizarre as Manti Te'o to be honest. Pretending like you were never married when you actually were? Weird.

Good morning~~

His phone was broken already, you like holding on to broken stuff?

Also, he finally saw the light and upgraded from Samsung to an iPhone.

iPhone a SHIT. I'm happy with my S3.

Also, Dutch, that train gif is amazing. One problem though, it'll now be 4 years since a mediocre Giants team got hot in the playoffs. You'll lose as time expires to the Giants for the THIRD time. =D

It's worth it because he owns a piece of the NFL Network and this storyline he and Goodell have concocted will make for great summer ratings.

Those live in escorts aint cheap you know.

Will Beatty tearing his pectoral really threw a big monkey wrench into the offensive line plans this year. Beatty was the only starter returning to the line at left tackle and he had a big bounce back year in 2014 after an abysmal 2013 campaign. Weston Richburg is being moved to Center which is what he was drafted for. Pugh made the move over to left guard and a healthy Geoff Schwartz is meant to move to right guard which is his natural position. Our top draft pick, Erek Flowers was meant to start at right tackle and get his technique worked out with an eventual move to LT in the next two years being likely.

With Beatty down. we're going to have a rookie LT with technique issues learning on the fly and right now Marshall Newhouse is the RT which is a Charles Brown situation all over again.

I'll take a broken down Jake Long with some upside over Newhouse at this point. Its short term until Beatty gets back (which is likely 6 games into the season) but if Flowers struggles at LT and Long actually has anything left in the tank - he has played the position before and we can move Flowers over to the right side if necessary.

Either way, the possibility of Eli running for his life is high.

They're looking at Brandon Mosley really hard there too. I mean, he can't be worse than Newhouse, though. But is he good enough? I still don't know about Long's health.
Long's health is obviously a concern but if we do sign him, its likely going to be for a vet minimum deal or close to that so there is little downside in exploring our options for camp.

Also he probably hid his divorce because he still tries to pick up college co-eds who are probably weirded out by divorced dudes.

Mara spoke on the JPP front. Not only questions his health/cardio, but the advice he is getting fed. Seems he is primarily about money, and not wanting to play for the team. It appears the only way he plays this year for the team is to sign a compromised tender and gets into training camp. I doubt that happens. Maybe best to cut bait with him and let the young guys battle it out. He's not going to be around for the long haul, anyways.

http://nypost.com/2015/07/28/john-mara-speaks-out-on-jpp-wrong-to-shut-us-out/
There isn't going to be any compromised tender and the Giants aren't pulling their franchise tag offer until they're given a reason to. What Mara said is pretty straight forward - the Giants aren't allowing anyone to sign on the dotted line for $15 million dollars until their doctors have had an opportunity to clear him. Plain and simple. If they do, he'll sign and he'll play.

If he doesn't get cleared, that's where things get interesting but even then they can choose to keep the tag offer on the table and keep him away from free agency. He doesn't have much leverage here.

doesn't JPP have to undergo a physical before he gets on the field anyways? If he fails it doesn'tattervwhat contract he gets.

Also any news from training camp seems to be bad news

Really seems like they are no longer interest in JPP the player, but JPP the trade asset. Makes sense but it seems like it would be hard to get good value for him until he shows he has regained his form
