They practice with the OLBs, have LB numbers, frequently stand up at the LOS, and Neal has slimmed down to more of an LB weight. They're OLBs.

"elephant" is just the name of the position in Capers' scheme. It's a pass rush focused OLB with enough size to hold his ground.

They do have more of a 4-3 DE role responsibility when we play nickel (which is most of the time), so it's really just semantics and philosophy. "What is a defensive end?"
