Guess now is the time we post pictures of Samantha Ponder

Also safeties seem to rarely get blamed for mistakes by casuals, they think it's always a CB being burned. Like Polamalu late in his career when he was just running around like a chicken with its head cut off seemed to still be really popular with Steelers fans.
Most safeties rarely have just man coverage responsibilities. Reed for example was single high much of his career, so it was easy to blame the corner for a free runner.

Polamalu was the "Joker" of the Steelers defense. He was a SS, but transitioned to many other roles as was necessary. The are many legendary stories of Cowher screaming at an out of position Polamalu, who had instructed the corner on his side to take his responsibility without telling anybody else. Guy was crazy instinctual. (Which is why he fell off a cliff when he lost his speed).

Oh totally, I'm not shit talking Polamalu in his prime. He was one of a kind, and a monster. Once he lost his athleticism he was hilarious to watch though (as a Steelers hater obviously), he was making those same reckless decisions that used to work and instead they would completely backfire.

It wasn't easy watching Polamalu late in his career. He was often 2-3 steps late to a play he used to blow up off the snap.

Rumor around Pittsburgh is that he has a grudge against the team for forcing him to retire. He thought he had another year or two left.

New Hard Knocks tonight, right? Will be interesting to see the reaction to Goff's struggles and Prescott shredding the Rams D.

It's a new start for RGIII, including his personal life.

Wow. He really is trying to start new.

That baby has a receeding hairline.

RG3 is ugly as heck. But he's rich so he's gonna upgrade I guess.
