What a horrible weekend. The Bears lost. The 49ers lost. My only saving grace is the fact that the Cowboys lost so I won't have to listen to all the "OMG, THE COWBOYS ARE GONNA WIN THE SUPERBOWL!" crap on the news all week.

My disgust knows no bounds... Boller inaccuracy rearing it's head.... Defense secondary running out of gas in the 2nd half... O line provided decent pass protection but little to know holes... and what holes they made, Jamal showed me nothing today.

With the way Baltimore played today, I opted to pick the Steelers next week as an upset for the Pick 'Em league. But I wasn't too confident about the pick so I gave that game a 1 for my confidence rating :p

Lions WR Rogers breaks collarbone again

NFL.com wire reports

CHICAGO (Sept. 12, 2004) -- Detroit Lions wide receiver Charles Rogers broke his collarbone for a second straight year and might miss most of the season.

Rogers, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2003 draft, played only the first five games a year ago because of a broken collarbone, catching 22 passes with three touchdowns.

He was injured going for a pass in the first quarter of Detroit's 20-16 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday. X-rays revealed a fracture near the one he got last year during a bye week practice.

"We want to get the best information available to see where it's at," Lions general manager Matt Millen said.

"Same collarbone, different spot," Lions coach Steve Mariucci said. "So it's going to be long term. The first pass that went to him, he came down and landed on his shoulder like we had seen him do at Ford Field in the preseason. He got up and said, `Something is wrong.'

"It's a shame the clavicle didn't hold up. So we are going to have to medically see what we need to do and see if he can get back here," Mariucci added.

Mariucci said the Lions have not determined a course of action.

"We are not ruling anything out yet. I suppose (surgery) is a possibility, but it has not been determined yet," he added.

The Lions also lost Pro Bowl defensive back Dre' Bly, who sprained a ligament in his knee in the opening quarter. Bly will undergo an MRI on Tuesday.

"We are hoping it's not too serious," Mariucci said.

We woulda had an early touchdown but dumbass kevan barlow fumbled, UGHHHH :(. I just hope he can step up next week; this is gona be a horrid year if he cant. Atleast our Defense played on-par to waht i thought thye would, Julian Peterson was phenomenal.

Chris Berman said his connections with TO were just like "Kids at a playground" playing "pitch and catch" all McNabb needs is a southern twang and the media will bend over for him.

Boller plays pitch and catch too! He pitches it to the Browns, and they catch it.

He had a decent game but a few dropped passes, some key mistakes and a bad defense was their downfall. After they ran away from the rushing game, it was all over. Good game by the Iggles but they have to work on the run defense. Seriously. Luckily, we might have enough weapons to play ahead most of the time. We need to focus on that, tho.

He's alot less annoying than Madden. its ESPN's baseball games with Joe Morgan that I cant stand. Dude never shuts up and he thinks he knows everything and his voice annoys me.
