... Redskins will be alright as long as they don't get flustered and are steady on offense. And they can't understimate McNabb. With LaVar out, they really don't have the speed from their linebackers to chase him all over the field.

Last week was the first time they scored more than 20 all year. That is a goddamn MISERABLE offense.
The one shot they took downfield should have been a TD catch. Why haven't they tried it again? Instead they're still doing this horrible dink and dunk play calling when it hasn't worked AT ALL all game.
Well, my point was that the play calling was very good in the Giants game. Sure, they're a suck team and the Eagles are great (#1 in scoring defense as of a couple weeks ago), so there's the difference.
Skins offensively are lacking; they need a better QB (badly), offensive line and maybe another standout receiver, you have to admit Gibbs is not working with much this year.

Hopefully Jansen can come back at full strength next year. He's our best Olineman, being out all year has hurt us. I'm willing to give Gibbs the benefit of the doubt though, not only because he's a legend, but because aside from Brunell (who i didn't want to sign from the beginning, and has been a bust) and Portis, he's really still playing with most of Spurriers personnell. I don't know of very many coaches that could have a whole lot more success with the mess the "Ol' Ball Coach" left in DC.

he seems like a cool guy from what i've seen in press interviews but he needs to make this team more consistent.
its like sometimes you just gotta flip a coin wondering whether the falcons are gonna win or not.
either they are gonna own, or they are gonna suck (and when they suck they suck HARD!) or they just barely win.
either way, my hats off to the defensive coordinator this year for taking a defense that sucked balls last year and turn them into a defense that wins the game.

I loved how the commentator went on this huge spiel about how Dawkins's two feet were not down after he obtained possession blah blah....he was so convinced it should have been incomplete. Then the other commentator reminded him that his knee was down. DUH!
