Lost in the win and I never heard it asked...why the heck did Reid not challenge the fumble? Did he ever answer that?
He would have to hear so much shit over that if they lost. Vick and DeSean really saved his ass.

And Giant fans really have it out for TMQ.

No, there were 11 defenders in front of him is the point.

As soon as Vick crossed the line of scrimmage, there were only four defenders in front of him, right? And to get to that point, Vick only needed to run past #31, who was blocked inside by the tackle. I think I'm remembering it right, but I could be confused about player placement.

Actually I was thinking of the other long scramble, sorry. Can you blame me though, that last 8 minutes was a blur. :(

I'll review the game again tonight to see what's up.

The Aaron Ross blunder is what kills me. Perfect D call, your only responsibility is to "contain" blitz outside, and for some inexplicable reason he doubles back inside. Did he not realize Vick's whole left side would now be open? What was a good defensive game from him at that point became meaningless.

30 percent chance for snow on Sunday in Green Bay apparently. Rodgers should play I'd imagine and despite the NY media's assertions, I expect the Giants to play their asses off after that soul sucking loss. It should be a fun game with a playoff atmosphere.

I've watched a few Packers games this year but not enough to get a bead on the team defensively. Statistically they are a heck of a scoring defense. I know Matthews is a beast and Woodson is a playmaker in the secondary, but Packers fans - how is the team against the run? I see the Giants focusing big on re-establishing the running game. Especially if we do see snow fall.

Packers give up a lot of rushing yards but are one of the stingiest teams in the league in allowing rushing touchdowns. Either fewest or second fewest rushing touchdowns. Since our secondary is pretty decent (generally) at tackling, we also don't give up many long runs. The Lions did run all day though. I'd say Jacobs is the type of back that will give the Packers trouble because they are weaker inside than out. Although if Raji plays like he did Sunday, maybe they won't give up so damn many yards.

I'm thinking Rodgers won't play. Gut feeling.

Whats the word on Moreno? How serious is his injury? He was clutch for me in my 10 game win streak. Now I am in the finals and need him.

Also is Gates still out?

No way.

If you guys lose this game then you're basically out of the playoffs.
He wasn't cleared to play last week. There is no guaranty of him being cleared this week. He still had symptoms last Thursday including headaches. I just don't think he'll be cleared.

Obviously I don't think he is as terrible a teammate or as big a coward as AP. If he can go, Rodgers will go.

Highly likely that they'll shut him down for the rest of the regular season and save him for the playoffs if the Chargers get in. The team has played well without him, so they don't want to rush things. He's still gonna try to give it a go before every game though. Just depends on how his foot feels on gameday.

Ok then I'll just stash it in my notes and go to BBI no biggie. I just want to point out that yankeehater is calling someone biased. :lol

Colts have gone through six safeties so far this season. Sanders, Silva, Bullitt, and a replacement are on IR, and two more went down on Sunday.

Rodgers was trying to convince McCarthy to let him play against NE so he definitely is tough enough to want to go out there, but I'm just not sure of that injury. I'm as pessimistic as you are about it, but I guess we'll find out more tomorrow. Hopefully he's feeling better.

Giants went through several last year, as well, and even tried playing Aaron Ross there while he tried returning. Kenny Phillips lasted two games. The rest of the bunch were Aaron Rouse, C.C. Brown, and Michael Johnson. Oof.

The "Thursday Night" game(s) this week are gonna be so boring. Gonna be a long holiday week until some good football.

I hate Football hangovers.

Starting to feel that pain. Last week was Lowery but at least Ihedigbo is coming back.

Good to see the Bears clinch their division on a short week. Hopefully some complacency sinks in for Sunday. OLine reasserted themselves against the Steelers so would like to see that trend continue and come playoffs, Woody should be back as well.

Bolded memo making rounds in Jets locker room: "DO NOT PUNT TO HESTER!!" followed by "LOL"

While the Jets played a really smart game on offense, keep in in mind that Troy was out and our run defense is not nearly as effective with Mundy and our backups in.

Though that doesn't speak very highly of our coaches. We have had a shitty o-line and Troy has had a history of injuries for several years now and yet we have made no move to fix either problem. :(

edit:

Oh and Ross Tucker had an excellent breakdown of the Jets safety on yesterday's podcast of Football today. Very impressed with how he broke down the play and with how Jason Taylor made it happen.

Is it bad that I don't even want the Seahawks to go to the playoffs anymore? The team is so bad and they still have a chance to go. This division man...

He really looks like he wants to kill somebody on the field. He is going to wind up being the guy that the league targets for fines if he doesnt get it in check soon.

James Harrison would escalate if that was the case.

Fixed

Also would have accepted "Giants fans are not upset over historic choke" followed by a picture of Wellington's busted laptop.

The laptop pic definitely has to make it into the OP. That shit was classic.
