So, Mig, you're bitter that Jimmy Smith didn't get in over Andre Johnson, then? More TDs, better yards per catch, more yards over the season, more first downs, more 20+ catches, more 40+ catches - more everything, pretty much. Just thank your lucky stars that the best players don't always go to the Pro Bowl...

But Houston > Jacksonville, so Andre > Smith.

Kearse isnt all about the numbers. Just look at what he has done for our defensive line, we are leading the nfl in sacks when last year where one of the worst.

WTF!! Anyone watching PTI today?? Roy Williams has taken out 2 people with that EXACT same tackle. Tyrone Calico sprained both knees and Musa Smith broke his leg. This fucker needs to be banned from the nfl. Its a load of crap that he continues to go out of his way to drag people down that way knowing the damage it can and will cause. The one on Smith looked really bad, you could see he intended to injure the guy. I dont want to hear about how bad TO is when you have dirtbags like this in the NFL.

I don't know how long you've been following football, but generally 8-6 (the Jaguars' record) is seen as better than 6-8 (the Texans' record). Sometimes you can make a case for this not being true (8-6 in the NFC West might be seen by some as worse than 6-8 in the AFC South, for example) but for two teams in the same division it's a pretty good guideline.

Hope this helps.

Definitely a dirtbag, but trying to hurt people is part of the game. Injuries are just part of the game. It will even out once word gets out thtat he plays dirty, everyone will go out of their way to put a huge hit of him (in other words try and hurt him).

Thats not part of the game. Thats him risking a players career because he cant make a standard tackle. How many people need to be knocked out for the season before they do something about it?

Ahem, I do believe this is the week that the Jags ignite their fanbase by trouncing those nancy-pants wannabe Cowboys then marching on to Oakland in victory!

I dunno man, I don't think it is so black and white. I think this guy is a slime, but he was bringing someone down in the open field. In football I think you can go about that anyway that you can get the other guy down. And what rule would you propose? That you can't pull people down from behind? It is a shitty situation, but like I said injuries are part of the game and it sucks for Philly but I don't think they should change that rule because TO got hurt. With free agency every team is weak in a few spots.

that's a bunch of fucking BS about roy...he's trying to catch people from behind. he sticks out his hands and brings them down. i seriously doubt he's trying to hurt anyone. it's football.

Wannabe Cowboys? Why not just fucking call them Satan.

And for the record, last time I checked, 3 > 2.

I've been following football many years, and in that time I've learned that 1 > 0, and soon to be 2 > 0. Texans > Jaguars, and soon to be Bills = playoffs, Jaguars = winter vacation.

Three players knocked out in the same year on the same bullshit tackle. He is going to end someones career with that garbage real soon. Unless he is a total moron he knows the kind of damage it can do yet continues to do it. In all those situations he couldve just as eaisly made a standard tackle but he wanted to deliver the big hit, thats about all he is good for.

you missed YAC.

Player/Rec/YAC

Andre 73 473
Jimmy 69 194

AJ averages >6.5 YAC per reception...Smith avgs. <3. BIG difference.

Besides, bitch about Hines Ward, who has worse stats than both.

As much as I love the Ravens I'm mad McCalister made the pro bowl. This will only make him think that the way he has been playing has been acceptable. He has been on a steady decline and he needs a wake up call to get back to his pro bowl calibur play.

His play is down because of the rule changes not because of his ego. A lot of secondaries have been embarassed this year. The idea of a "shutdown corner" died this year.

:lol @ this dude from the ESPN boards... "ElwayFannnn"

LOL@Team accomplishment, and making huge numbers as a qb is an individual effort right? You think Manning will make half the numbers he is making right now with the Dolphins or Browns? Why is it that whenever Brady plays well it's team effort and when Manning plays well it's all because of Manning. Why don't you study a book or two and learn something called common sense.

Colts lost most of their playoff games solely because of Manning. He played like **** against the Jets and Dolphins, and single-handily lost to the patriots throwing 4 picks. And that's with the best offense in NFL. What in the right mind do you think he'll do better with Patriots offense? Dillon wasn't part of Patriots 2 superbowl victory and nobody will get confused with Brown/Branch to Harrison/Wayne the best wr core in NFL. Edge is on his way for another rushing title and pollard/clark is the best receiving tight end duos in NFL. You want to go with O-line when did Brady have star o-linemen? You mean like saturday and glenn that Manning has?

Bottom line is enough with this nonsense how Manning would have won rings with Patriots. He wouldn't have made it to the playoff with the Patriots. If you didn't know colts were top 10 in defense statistically the last 2 years. So their defense isn't bad despite popular belief. They couldn't go to superbowl because manning threw 4 picks and got killed. Keep talking about team's effort the reason why Manning makes the kind of numbers he makes offensively is what I called the REAL team's effort. Are we forgetting about Kurt Warner? Look at his pathetic self with the giants. That’s what happen if you take away Marvin Harrison, Edge, Wayne, and clarks of offensive weapons.

Nobody is saying he sucks but he gets too much credit for his great offense, the great offensive team effort. People automatically think he is better than brady because of the stats. Historically great qbs are judge by their intangibles and ability to make their entire team better and ability to win big games. Stats are only product of one’s offense look at Gannon and Warner. You were probably the idiot who thought warner was the best qb in NFL when he was making those mind-boggling numbers. Is manning ONE of the better qbs in NFL? True is he the best? No that award goes to Brady.

Trust me as a Ravens fan his play has been down significantly new rules or not. He gets flat out beat a lot of the times like he's lost a step or two. And he has a hard time defending top tier wide outs but always does good against the lower tier ones. Did you see what Harrison did to him on national tv?

Negative I've watched him every week... his play is simply down. He's getting beat, he's getting caught looking the wrong way, he's getting caught NOT turning around when passes come to the receiver he's covering.

Nothing to do with the rules there... I have to agree with the other poster... I was a bit surprised to see him get the Pro Bowl nod... it sucks that Heap was hurt for so long this year... he definitely deserves it... more so that McAllister IMO.

I believe you'll find that last time the two teams played at Alltel we stuffed them, and recorded the first shutout in the history of our defence.

Vick, Crumpler, Kerney and Brooking make the Pro-Bowl team! I surprised about Vick, didn't think he played well enough to make it.

Plaxico praticed this week. :D

So even if he doesn't play against Baltimore I am hoping he is close to coming back. We need a healthy Deuce and Plax for the playoffs.

Vick just signed a 10 year contract extension for $100 million, with a record $37 million in signing bonuses.

And yeah, he deserved a pro bowl selection, considering the terrible depth of NFC QB (and that he's a QB on a 12-2 team).

Pinky is totally delusional.

"I would like to take it upon myself to lead the receiving corps," Pinkston said. "I don't have anything to prove.

I have seen his future in philly and its not pretty.

Bulger should have been on there imo. He was leading the nfl in passing yards when he went down, and was top 10 in every other category. if trotter can make it, bulger should have too.

Cards are going to the playoffs, I just know it. Seattle really blew it this season, they're in the weakest division in the NFL and haven't locked it up yet. After all the talk at the start of the season you'd have thought it would be easy.
