Green Bay defense should be embarrassed by that.... he friggin caught it on his own 40!

Yeah, the bad defense is starting to show through.....and what was with Sherman blowing both of his challenges already?

Well, although I didn't see the first one, they did get hosed on the second challenge. The ball was spotted almost on the one yard line, at the very most it should have been spotted about an inch from the goal line. It was a touchdown, but it was indisputable that the ball was spotted too far from the endzone.

The first challenge was on a Favre fumble, and it wasn't even close. The Fox guys thought maybe he was misinformed from upstairs. He did throw the red flag kinda quickly I thought though.

Anyway, knowing I only have one challenge left and I'm only a yard from the endzone and that I'm probably going to go for it on 4th down....then why even challenge? I don't think it adds up.

Nice response by GB's offense to score that quickly.

And right away GB's special teams falls asleep.

And GB's defense says... hey we can let the Viks score even quicker!

What in the hell?

IS there no defense or special teams in this game?!?!??!

Jesus christ. Nobody in the NFC wants to go to the playoffs. We need to call Tags and get him to do some quickie division reallignment to get the Bills and Ravens in the NFC.

You can ASK for a measurement?!?!?!? That's news to me. Ok yeah it was close enough that they had to measure... wild game.

My money is on the Packers in this one. Farve just has that zip on his ball today. Plus, three terrible Farve games in a row? No chance.

Man I wish the Ravens ran more play action... we are built for that shit man....

Dude is not even a top 5 QB anymore IMO. He thinks he's better than he really is and makes many dumb decisions which usually cost his team :lol

A top 5 QB? Not even close. He hasn't been for a while IMO, he losses games as often as he wins them.

And it was a terrible INT. With that field position, why would you even try to throw a low bullet over the middle? Let your recievers make the play, don't make a pass that is gonna be batted down half the time.

The Kotex Kid said:
And we all bash the Colts defense but these 2 teams are just as bad...

Nobody is saying that either of these teams has a chance at the Super Bowl.
You don't hear complaints about the Raiders or Chiefs having shitty D either.

The Kotex Kid said:
I'd say Minny has a pretty good chance to get to the SB cos of the "competition" in the NFC playoffs...

Well, both of these teams have a chance...that doesn't mean they deserve it. The Eagles were the only good team in the NFC. Without Owens, they're no better than the sixth best team in the AFC.

And this final drive gives the Favre haters another reason to gnash their teeth... :lol

Joey frikken Harrington did the exact same thing to this defense last week on the final drive. Sorry, I'm not impressed :lol

I'm no Farve hater or lover but I must give it up to GB for not only beating the Vikings but the refs as well. Looks like since the 9ers no longer need the help of the refs to lose they have moved on to GB.

Regardless of how you feel about the guy as a QB.... damn Favre has gone through alot in this past year in terms of family issues... to even be able to play halfway decent IMO is a miracle.

... MERRY CHRISTMAS.

They need to fire the defensive coordinator as well and get rid of their HORRID secondary. What a gutless performance on that last drive with the division on the line...

True....

"Joey Harrington does not SLING and SLANG. You feel me, Konex?"

jeff ulbrich, 49ers OLB, on the probowl...

“I could give a sh-- about the Pro Bowl, especially looking at who (made) it today,” Ulbrich said. “I mean, Jeremiah Trotter and Dan Morgan? You have to be f------ kidding me. In the NFC, it’s a f------ joke. It’s whoever is on SportsCenter and whoever the media wants to pump up. That’s who makes it. It’s absolutely ridiculous.”

amen ulbrich! it's a fucking JOKE. just because you are on a losing team doesn't mean you aren't the best at your position. if carolina was 2-12 right now, but morgan had the SAME stats he has now, would he be in the probowl? no. it's not ulbrich's fault that our offense can't put up numbers to win a ballgame. ulbrich is far superior to BOTH of these joke linebackers but he gets snubbed. oh well, probowl isn't a meaningful game anyways, but you would still like your guys to represent

Tice lost his job long ago, I'm pretty sure. I mean, he talked about wanting to coach at UW saying it would be a dream to go back out there.

Why should you be rewarded with a probowl appearance when you are on the worst team in the NFL. Ulbrich needs to quit bitching and find a way to drag his team out of the cellar. Its never going to change, the winning teams will send the most players.

A standout player on a great team deserves a spot much more than a mediocre player on a great team (or, as the case may be, the "best in the conference by default" team). The pro bowl is about individual performances. If it wasn't, the AFC team last year would have consisted solely of Chiefs O-linemen, with the rest of the team being Patriots.

yeah i'm pissed about the eric johnson bullshit too. he is ARGUABLY the best TE in the league (although i would have to make a better case for Gates), but he is guaranfuckingteed the best TE in the NFC!

Can't really argue against Crumpler or Witten though, both of them are the best receivers on their teams also. Both have more touchdowns, and although Crumpler has fewer catches, he's got nearly the same number of yards. Trotter has only been starting since week 9 or so, at least at MLB you've got an argument to be made that the player who made it is undeserving.

i can argue against both of them because eric johnson is our only weapon on offense. we've had no running game and no decent receivers, teams know who the ball is going to in key situations, but whatever

You can't say the same thing for Witten? Who else are they going to throw to, Meshawn?

However you feel probowl selections should be made the fact remains that Morgan is ahead of him in just about every meaningful statistic you can think of AND plays for a winning team AND has played 4 less games. Since Trotter became a starter he has better numbers as well.

well ulbrich has only played mlb for a couple games this year, what he is commenting on is derek smith getting passed by. derek smith is a superior mlb to arguably both morgan and trotter, but definitely trotter. if you have a shitty run defense, that can fall on the MLB. the eagles run defense is a fucking joke. trotter has only started half the season or so. it's ridiculous that he was even on the balloting, but whatever.
