For the dirty bastards who are lucky enough to be watching the Steelers game, how does Big Ben look so far?

:lol well they're running like 95% of the time...when conditions were well enough to throw, he looked pretty bad, but he didnt have much time.

during this rain, it doesn't matter, because no one in the NFL could throw. maybe peyton. but no one else

TD rayduhz. good

Compared to Feeley's number he looks like Payton out there. He is 50% for about 100 yards.

But it's even more ridiculous to expect anything from these QBs. ;)

Both of these teams have an awful RB situation, and that's all they can do, for the most part.

Saints 2-1 and on the way up. The Falcons are the biggest fraud 3-0 team in NFL history.

*rolls eyes*

Anyway, ugly game today, but a win is a win. Our defense really saved the day, they all deserve the game ball. Yeah say what you want, but you got to give our D credit for holding Arizona to one field goal as many times as they were in the red zone.

Davis wants to play against Atlanta, I'd rather he take one more week off and let DeShaun run wild on Atlanta

You think so huh? Realize that Falcons haven't allowed team to rush over 100 yards on them yet this season.

And Bowser don't worry about our offense's production today, after the local media lashing the offense will get this week, Vick and the offense will be looking to prove something come Sunday. I don't want to jinx us or anything, but we all know Carolina's history against Vick. ;)

hey falcon fan roll your eyes over your schedule. You beat the 2 worst teams in the league and scored 6 points on Arizona. Saints will roll you up like the pretenders you are.

LOL. I love Saints fans' optimism. Keep hope alive!

Oh and Tampa Bay falling apart is wonderful. Gruden, looks like you might have gotten a little too big for your britches.

Don't misunderstand, I'm not bragging on the offense, they looked like shit. The defense showed up though, it wasn't all Arizona mistakes.

ya know, i loved gruden when he was on oakland. i was really pissed when he left...but i do think he may be somewhat of a fluke

How in the world did Porter get into position to make that catch? I thought he was beat for sure. Wow.

Edit: Please just stop, Pat :(

I'm not one for Summerall bashing, but he's making a fool of himself tonight. I hope Mike Patrick can come back soon.

"The quarter can't end on a defensive play...So what we'll have now is an untimed play."

"You mean defensive penalty"

"Right"

ref-"The quarter will end and it will be fourth down at the beginning of the fourth quarter."

"I beg your pardon, the quarter CAN end on a defensive play...I didn't know that..."

I know he was thinking half...not quarter...but still...just make it stop.

I hate watching A.J. Feeley suck it up like that. Believe it or not I feel bad that we screwed the dolphins out of their 2nd round pick for him.

Is Feeley normally this bad? Damn... top if off Pitt ain't doing much better....

Dude it stopped raining AWHILE ago.

My bad, I am just following the game through ESPN. Didn't know it stopped raining. In Ben's defense, Miami has some of the best corners in the game, really no excuse for A.J. :D

OMFG.

What. a . catch.

ward is out of his goddamn mind.

catching nearly 65% of our balls this season........

how in the hell do you get over 100 yds recieving in these conditions???

In that case I would be watching that game IF MY FUCKING CABLE COMPANY ACTUALLY HAD SUNDAY TICKET WORKING

FUCKING MORONS

Oh yeah I forgot Comcast offers a Sunday Ticket type deal locally for folks who have Direct TV.... with their PVR you even get a Monday morning download recap like you do with DirectTV NFL Sunday Ticket.

Damn nice catch by Ward.

He doesn't have control, they're gonna call it back. WOW surprise, normally when you transfer the ball like that they usually say no you don't have control.

he is awesome...i've been following the game on StatTracker. Hines saved my ass this week. I'm just about ready to bench McNair in favor of Jake the Snake Plummer.

Honestly, and I know everyone here will just call me a homer for this......

But over the past 4-5 years, I think Hines Ward has been one of the most valuable players in the league. Maybe he's not the best player, but I think he has been the most valuable to his team.

Without Ward, we would have never made it to the AFC Championship or so far in the playoffs, let alone even make the playoffs. The guy does so many things that never makes it to national highlight reels.

I love the ass-kissing the SNF guys give out. It leads to so much hilarity. Like just now.

Joe: "Charles Woodson is playing with so much enthusiasm. He's bouncing all over the field making plays. Blah blah Charles Woodson rules blah blah."
Ref: "Offsides, #24 defense."

:lol

You know, my QB's before this week were fuckin Brunell and McCown...I dropped em for Roethlisberger and Brees. neither of which will put up great numbers but better than the 0-1 points I was getting from Brunell/McCown.

also...

Stecker ended up with 106 yards on 18 carries, including a 42-yard touchdown run.

hmm good pickup while McAllister is out. =D

Staley gets over 100 yards....that's what I like to see. Against a very good run defense too.

Bungles get the pain at home next week, and I'll be there to see it. :D

Changing the QB wont help when your averaging 2 yards a carry, your recievers are quitting on routes and your offensive line looks like one of these.

Turnstyle2-sm.jpg

Then again it cant hurt either.

Tommy Maddox is already out 6 weeks.... Roethlisberger looks to want to put him on the bench for longer than that....
