lol!

There is no in-between for FMT. I thought about you when I saw the score. Your team sucks ass.

A question for Houston/KC dwellers. Did CBS cut the end of the game locally like they did nationally? Here in Raleigh, we weren't allowed to watch the last 90 sec because of an NFL rule! What the fuck, because of injuries/challenges I couldn't watch the end of a game that I invested 3+ hours in. Thanks a LOT NFL!

Has philly played the toughest schedule so far this season, based on records alone. Of the three teams they have beaten none have lost, excluding the eagles games. Another useless stat, eagles are the only team to win by 10 or more in all of their games. I know its early but maybe Hodge should think about that when he writes another article on how the eagles wont make the playoffs and the redskins will dominate the division. At this point Mcnabb looks unstoppable.

I would say the Colts have played the toughest schedule so far.

Big Ben faces the storm, a tough D, and a shitty field and pulls out his first W. Wasn't pretty, but I'll take it. Congrats Ben, please bring home some more.

I want Ben to put up some big numbers, learn his recievers, and get some confidence and lose most of the games. Steelers need some bigtime defensive players and they will need to stink it up to get a big time corner next year (they really need one) and some other players to prop up the defense. If they get a big time corner, a pass rusher, and another beast of a linebacker they can contend for a Superbowl next year because with Ben in place they have all the pieces in place for a dominant offense, all he needs is experience.

See, I have a completely different philosophy. I truely believe that we can be a contender this year. If not only for the fact that this league is all over the place and everyone has a chance right now (the Pats and Eagles being the exception - both look very very good right now).

The defense is missing a huge piece of the puzzle right now, and that is a healthy Kendrell Bell.

If this team can keep it steady for the next few weeks and get Ben comfortable, I really believe that we are going to win the division. The Ravens have a great great D, but a very shakey QB who doesn't have terrific WRs to back him up like Ben does, and a tough schedule.

10-6.

No way can we win a Superbowl with our defense. I am being realistic. We need to really address a few huge holes in our defense to have a legit shot. How can you win a Superbowl when you have zero pass defense?

"How can you win a Superbowl when you have zero pass defense?"

You get a healthy Kendrell Bell back, and turn yourselves into a pressure D.

I could go on for a long time about how the Steelers are a much better defensive team when they Blitz 5-6 instead of 4, eventhough it seems like it would be the wrong thing to do, considering our Dbacks.

Troy Polamalu is going to be a great safety in 2 years. Watch.

Hope should start.

Pressure alone will get you raped playing against the Pats or Colts. If the Steelers were to win a Superbowl they would have to do it either by Ben actually becoming a Messiah or by avoiding teams with great QBs (i.e. Peyton). Can you imagine leaving the Colts recieving core in single coverage? That is exactly what Peyton wants, he will pass to the right reciever and put it on the money 9/10 times. It might work with the Pats because Brady doesn't have the arm strength to go downfield, but I just don't think that strategy would take the Steelers very far.

Hope and Polamalu should blossom into a great tandem back there. Colclough or Taylor (if he ever works his way out of Cowher's doghouse) will hopefully step up and replace Scott at some point. The secondary is pretty young now, but they're much more fun to watch now than those aging vets with no speed getting lit up for 300+ yards almost every week like the last two seasons.

They do need the 2001 Kendrell Bell, however, I fear he's never returning to that form. At least not in time to help the Steelers. Unless he makes a major comeback and huge impact at some point this season, I don't believe they'll attempt to keep him in the off season.

What they need more right now is for Porter to step it up on D IMO. Since he got shot in the ass, he hasn't been totally the same.

All you people who picked Cincy over Baltimore? I'd like to here why you thought that was gonna happen.

All you people who are going to pick KC over us in next week's Monday night game? I'd like to here why you think that's gonna happen.

Oh and Dolphins fans? I feel ya....but hey look on the bright side Ricky owes 8+ mil... he's probably gonna come back rather than pay all that back... lord knows what that is going to do to team chemistry...but if you start winning... winning heals alot of wounds...

Williams can't play this year, if he comes back within a year of retiring, he will be suspended for 12 months.

I will tell you exactly why I picked Cincy over you guys, I still wasn't so sure about your offense.

The offense has changed my viewpoint and Kansas City has issues right now, so I won't be picking against the Ravens in Week 4.

If Bell keeps spending all his time on the sidelines, I wouldn't pay big money to keep him either. He seems to have come down with a bad case of Fuamatu-ma'afala disease. I don't see how he can command a big salary based off of one very effective season, 2001. I really hope he gets things together, but I don't know. He hasn't played a snap since the first pre-season game. Not good.

Logan was hurt. I had to listen to the game on the radio, but they didn't elaborate any on what the injury was. Poor Ike Taylor is so far in Cowher's doghouse that Russell Stuvaints ( a guy who didn't originally make the final roster) replaced Logan on his D positions. Ike only filled in on his special teams spots. But, Ike blocked a punt while Stuvaints had a dumb penalty, so maybe Ike moves back up the roster some now. Who knows.

Somehow I think he's gonna take the suspension over paying back the 8.6 mil.

Eagles lost another starter for the season, this time its Ritchie. That makes 4 so far after 3 games. This always seems to happen in blowouts.

God the Dolphins seriously suck. I'm 100% confident Wansted is going to get fired by end of the season.

If they fire him now maybe they'll have a chance at the rest of this season. He still thinks they have Ricky Williams. Start throwing the ball, get Feely out, and maybe they'll win a few.

Yeah hes been real dissapointing the last two games. Im thinking if he was 1 more bad game with a fumble then Bell or Hearst might start getting more runs.

:lol :lol :lol :lol oh there's some great stuff on page 2

I cringe when I see him scramble:

Drew Bledsoe. Something terrible, like a kidney laceration, is about to happen

Worst backup QB in the league:

Any Niners' QB

Now for Jake Pummer's next trick . . .

Hoops-style behind-the-back wraparound screen, picked for 6 the other way

One word to describe Josh McCown:

In the words of Mike Tyson, "Bolivian."

Ken Dorsey
19/32, 153 yards
0 TD, 2 INT

You mean it gets worse than A.J. Feeley? Yes. Dorsey turned the ball over four times without a hurricane to blame for it.

It ain't gonna stop buddy boy. I suggest a change of team. There may be room on the Panthers bandwagon, people still have broken legs from jumping off after the Green Bay game and can't muster the strength to get back on.

Tell me about it. Though somehow Aaron friggin Stecker picked up the slack..But when McAllister comes back I'm pretty much screwed, I have no other RB.

And how the fuck am I about to go 3-0 in GAF league II?? I wasn't even there for the friggin draft and I had put Griffin as my top pick lol...

alexander has a bye next week, so went ahead and picked up stecker in the GA league. it was either stecker or emmitt smith =x
