impirius said:Hey, somebody help me out... what song were they playing over and over on ESPN during the Dolphins/Bengals game?
Yeah, that's the one! Don't know why I couldn't remember it. Thanks man.Azwethinkweiz said:I know they played "baba o'riley" by the who at the beginning. I kinda stopped watching after that so I dunno if that's the song you're talking about.

Paradox said:Like I said I like Grossman, so I like to see him get some wins. Whether or not the Vikings show up is the question(which they dident monday). The Bears should give them a good fight, and hopefully enough for a win.

New Orleans at St. Louis, 1:00 pm (Watching the Rams implode is going to be fun-Bulger isn't quite the bum Warner is, but still)
Lambtron said:soulja: It wasn't that game that made me hate the Rams. It was watching them mock the Vikings sideline during the playoffs either that year or the year before. I didn't like their style of football, and I don't like Mike "Hey It's Not Fair That We Run 5 Guys Down the Field and Our QB Gets Hit WTF" Martz. Oh, and I REALLY dispise Torry Holt. Faulk & Bruce are class acts, though.
skinnyrattler: Eagles fans get on my nerves. Sorry, mang. Not you or anyone on this board (though TheDuce22's insistance that TO caught that ball is pretty ridiculous and obnoixous) in particular, but some of the stories I've read over the years. I don't like the Raiiiiiduhs for the same reasons, it's nothing personal.
And seeing all the Favre/Packer hate on this board, you can all revel in our downfall in a couple of years when Favre is down the road, we don't have a star receiver, and we've got a green horn lining up behind a young offensive line. So don't worry about me.
Yeah well i got both Bills RBs and no real back up to them...my only redeeming factor is Vick getting RB like rushing yards...but that isn't going to be an every game thing.Eminem said:at least you didn't take Fred Taylor 7th overall in your draft. oooh, and peerless price as my number 1 reciever. dumbass
When the Pack is out, I root for the other teams from the division, generally. My old man's a Vikes fan, and I watch most of the games with him, so I've got nothing against them really. All the Vikings fans around here give me dirty looks and make snide remarks to me. Ah well. I've been a Packers fan since I was really little, like, in the Don Majkowski days, so I can take it all in stride.soulja224466 said:but you're a packer fan! you should have loved our demolition of the vikings that year lol

GO RAMS!" or "GO SEACHICKENS!" it goes against everything i believe in. i can understand saying maybe "GO PANTHERS! (who are playing the rams)" but damn anytime you have an arch-rival you can NEVER root for them*

If the Packers win or lose it has no real effect on my life. So if cheering for other teams in the playoffs (Mind you, just hoping they win, not buying their merchandise, or claiming I'm a fan) makes me a "shitty" fan (even though I've been one for like 17 years...), then so be it, I guess. I just don't take it that seriously. I have other things in my life that are far more important.
FrenchMovieTheme said:if the 49ers lose, my life is in shambles and i have a terrible week right off the bat. call me a bum for taking football so seriously, but it is one of the things i enjoy most in life (good or bad!). so, with that said, you can see why i dont want to see any garbage rivals of ours winning jack shit
I can understand. I don't think that either of the ways we watch/care about football is better than one another. Opinions is opinions, mang. I just don't think I'm doing anything wrong, is all! :>FrenchMovieTheme said:if the 49ers lose, my life is in shambles and i have a terrible week right off the bat. call me a bum for taking football so seriously, but it is one of the things i enjoy most in life (good or bad!). so, with that said, you can see why i dont want to see any garbage rivals of ours winning jack shit

ABC Punks NFL Players on 'You've Been Sacked'
By Jon Lafayette
ABC Sports will be punking NFL players in a new feature that will kick off during halftime of next week's "Monday Night Football." The feature is called "You've Been Sacked." Each week NFL players play a practical joke on a teammate for ABC cameras. In the first installment, to air during Monday's Dallas Cowboys-Washington Redskins game, St. Louis Ram receiver Torry Holt gets duped into taking part in a photo shoot, believing he's been named the best-dressed player in the league. ABC plans eight episodes of "You've Been Sacked."
