Since when did Sunday Night Football get so boring? I remember a few years ago I could watch damn near any Sunday Night game that ESPN slapped together. They just made it seem so damn important even when it wasn't.

Now with Pat and these jablomeez I'm bored about the first series.

3-1 Steelers! Believe in the Roth ERA!

The ONLY good thing about the NFL this week is that Dunta Robinson got two picks.

Gamecocks got 4 picks against Bama, too... good week for Carolina DBs.

...I can't believe we lost to JGar and friends. :(

FMT don't worry my friend!

Thiesman: "These 49ers wear those 49 uniforms with pride."

And yeah! They might be getting their fucking asses kicked, but they're still niners!

Are these guys serious? Really? Is this a joke on us? Or what?

That was hilarious.

This game is so awful. They're talking about how great the Rams are, but the Niners are giving them so much. Oh yeah, I haven't talked about fantasy football all day, and I don't intend to linger on the subject, but Barlow....DO SOMETHING! You're killing me. Now that his team is down 2000-0, no way will he do anything unless he lines up at WR, which might be a good idea. Johnson is the only Niner worth a damn.

Fantasy Football was a wreck today. I doubt anyone in my league scored over 90 pts.

At least I have LT.

EDIT: :lol @ the hail mary.

Oh come now. The JETS are UNDEFEATED. :D
Y'know, I was about to make a post about how the Jets don't have enough D at this point to keep up their run, but looking at their schedule... man, that might just be the most favorable schedule in the NFL.

Yeah, I know. Our schedule is HILARIOUSLY easy. I think the Jets have 5 games with SOME difficulty. Otherwise, it's a laugher.

man what a joke this season has become. we've given up 3 drives of 70+ and a touchdown on the fumble. this is identical to 1999, the similarities are eerie:

- Huge portion of rookies on the team
- no cap room
- athletic/quick defense, but too young and stupid to make anything of it
- uncertain offense that provides the defense with very few rests, and next to no points (or in the case of the last 6 quarters, literally no points at all)

you know what i hope we get shutout again. maybe york will sell the team. i don't buy all this "NO CAP ROOM!" bullshit. teams that want to win find a way to fit good players under the cap plain and simple

To watch Dennis Erickson's world of mediocrity come crumbling down around him. :D He's left a lot of victims in his wake. I remember what he did to the Canes program, and I'll never forgive him. San Fran can do better. PEACE.

I just stopped. I should have stopped sooner.

At least you'll be happy to hear that the Ravens are on SNF next week, and even the deadbeat play by play crew won't be enough to stop them from running all over the foreskins d.

Panthers kept it close going into the fourth quarter before being thoroughly owned by the Falcons in the fourth. Both the offense and defense couldn't do shit. The Offense gave up a TD in the fourth as well as the defense. This team disgusted me in the 4th quarter. We're not down and out yet. It's going to be VERY hard to win the division now that Atlanta has a three game cushion. The only way that can happen is if Atlanta has a collapse of monumental proportions (something like going 3-9 the rest of the way, which isn't likely seeing as the Falcons have a pretty cupcake schedule). I think that means the Panthers are gonna have to shoot for the wild card. We need a win either @Den or @Phi and then a win against the Chargers. That way we can finish off our first six games with a 3-3 record, because after that our schedule lightens considerably, with the only hard games (in my mind, that is) are @SEA and @ATL. If we can split the series with ATL, I think we should be able to go 11-5/10-6 and earn a wild card. Man, we are really missing Steve Smith :(

keep your strippers out of my American football
OMG, being at the Texans/Raiders game today was awesome. Raider Nation came in and was like 15% of the crowd. But after halftime, they were quiet and whining. Kerry Collins is NOT a good QB. He was so unsure of himself all day and telegraphed his passes. The post game party/tailgate was incredible. Texans finally got 2 wins in a row, and I was there. Incredible f'n game.

I will post pics of the tailgating hotties tomorrow or late tonight.

Raider Nation was complaining about the heat all day. :lol

They were talking trash for the first quarter...it slowed in the 2nd quarter....a bunch were leaving in the 3rd...and they were SILENT in the 4th. :lol

I told you guys....Dom Capers has Kerry Collins in CHECK! He knows what he likes to do...and they destroyed him in 2002.

I'll pull up Collins' combined stats for the two games in a minute.

ATL has a 2.5 game lead on us at the moment. Today's game was a heartbreaker. It seemed like all day if we could make ONE PLAY we could take the game. Boom, blitz, INT FOR TD, GAME. I think Jake was bothered by a slight concussion. We miss our o-line from last year a hell of a lot more than we miss Steve Smith currently. GB and ATL both blitzed the hell out of us all day. 0-2 at home. We came out VERY uninspired after our bye week. Our defense didn't look special at all. Bill Maas is still sucking the Falcon's dick, and he started when the game was 0-0. ATL is our daddy.

We're gonna need to prove we can play a LOT better than we did in the second half today (why did we stop running the ball?) if we want to even sniff playoffs. The season is by no means over, but we gotta figure something out quick. Hopefully Stephen Davis can come back next week. Going to Mile High will be a beast. But like you said, with our schedule so frontloaded, even a 1-4 record isn't the end of the world. It sure feels like it though.

Go Panthers!

Paul Tagliabue: And with the first selection in the 2005 NFL Draft, the 49ers... trade the pick to the New England Patriots. The 49ers will receive two 2nd round picks, a 4th round pick, a 6th round pick, and three 7th round picks. New England is on the clock...

Yeah, I've got 98 and my opponent has 78. BUT he has Jamal Lewis who is going to torch the KC defense :(:(
