What order is that in anyway? Based on personal preference? Not in alphabetical order, not in chronological order, not in order by qb rating. WTF.

No order

http://www.businessinsider.com/josh-freeman-completes-one-of-best-seasons-ever-for-a-young-qb-2011-1

Freeman, who was only 22 this season, finished with a QB rating of 95.9. In the Super Bowl era, only two other quarterbacks had a QB rating of at least 90.0 under the age of 23 (minimum eight starts). You might have heard of them: Dan Marino and Ben Roethlisberger.

Freeman also threw 25 touchdowns, one short of the team record. Only three quarterbacks under the age of 23 in the Super Bowl era have even thrown 20 touchdowns in a season. Again, a who's who of successful QBs, that includes Peyton Manning, Drew Bledsoe, and Marino.

Please do not attribute arguments to me I did not make. All I brought up was coaching. The offensive gameplan was awful on Sunday. My point is that you can't be blinded by 7-9 and not take a hard look at what happened when they faced their biggest test.

So...you're a Rams fan now?

You're probably being sarcastic, but I actually think pretty highly of Orton. From his time in both Chicago and in Denver.
Not sarcasm, I don't want the Vikings to have someone who can throw the ball. Webb/TJack future please

He gave up on his team much like your very own Tedesco!

Rams/Seahawks needs to be featured game of Week 17. Can't wait

lol Texans' fans. Give up and find a new team

Fans got used to the Braves being an excellent franchise, yet didn't show up in those playoff games they didn't sell out.

Speaking of competent franchises, the GM of the Texans is the godfather of the owner's grandchildren. He will never be fired. The Texans are fucked. Find a new team, fans

IMO, he chose poorly. If he wanted good ownership, the Rams aren't the way to go. :lol

Texans, although captive would probably argue that he was never really a fan.

Was reading the new TMQ and have to admit to being impressed.

Didn't half of his yards come on one run, though?
Those yards count too, sorry. I've noticed the same talk out of Freeney that I've heard from certain Raider players before this season. "We contain them all day but one or two plays!" Cable finally beat that shit out of them, though. That mentality is weak.

Anyway, he only got 11 carries and Bush only got 3. Not much they can do with that. And it's not like the Raiders were down 3 scores or something all game. The coaching staff is just dumb. I wouldn't take away too much from that game.

It's true and I cringed as I typed it, but I wouldn't say he was particularly effective that game.

Maybe your coaching staff is dumb, maybe they saw the run game as ineffective, since we've been playing the run more. I'd gladly challenge Campbell to beat us vs. McFadden
even though Campbell almost did...

Just heard on EPSN Radio that Tony Sporano is likely staying in Miami. He and the front office gave an impressive presentation to ownership on where they want to take the franchise moving forward and ownership liked it enough to stick with him as HC.

I hope there were lots of pictures of cute animal babies.

Heard the Williams sisters really pulled for Sparano, JLo & M.Anthony needed convincing but Tony did a good job winning them over.

If the Eagles do win, I like our chances against the Bears and hopefully then Falcons (dont want to face the Saints even though that would be a home NFC Champ game).

Glad Bishop got that extension. Ideally you keep Bishop and Hawk together but I dont think that works out. Hawk is clearly playing to get the attention of another club that needs a LB for all 3 downs. Hawks been forced to take that role due to injuries and it's actually been a blessing. But I doubt we keep him with the $10 million hes expecting, and I doubt he agrees to restructure his contract.

Once Hawk goes we can finally have that all black defense eznark has been dreaming of!
We all know Matthews is black

I'm contacting my lawyers now. The NFL needs a Sehorn Rule.

I think Hawk stays and have no problem with it as long as he plays like he did last week/last couple games.

We're either keeping Hawk or Barnett and AJ hasn't missed a game yet unlike overconfident defensive Mr. Glass.

It is weird how it worked out this year that the first game is going to be the toughest one. I think GB is by far the best team in the NFC, I am not sure that the Eagles can beat them, but if they do I really like their chances for getting to the SB. Reid is 7-1 in playoff openers, so hopefully that will keep up this year.

This is probably the toughest wild card match up they have had in the past decade.

Looks like Lewis might be out:
@AdamSchefter On a day when a person in the meetings said Bengals HC Marvin Lewis would return to Cincinnati, talks later broke off. Lewis left the Bengals complex when the two sides could not agree on franchise's direction and his future there is in serious jeopardy.
And Squicken might get his wish:
@MaryKayCabot: Rams offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur to interview with Browns on Thursday. ... He might be The Favorite.

Way, way too early in the off-season for squicken to determine who he will root for in 2011. Probably won't know til November or so.

Technically I was an Oilers fan first. Texans were just marriage of convenience. Stopped being convienent

Jesus that's disgusting.

Get back to me when your childhood team moves. I also would like to point out I picked a bottom rung team and not one of the national teams. Plenty of seats still available on this bandwagon.

Actually there's good ownership now. Guy who used to own Avalanche and Nuggets bought the Rams and gave the two CO teams to his kid. He is quite wealthy. Rich dude who made more money by marrying Wal-Mart heiress.

There are revenue issues. Stadium is run by idiots who still sell Marc Bulger jerseys but ran out of Bradford jerseys in the middle of the year. The concession stands also run out of food in 4th Q. But he will spend.

Guess I could get tired of Bradford and move on to Luck's new team. I'll be the Antonio Cromartie of NFL fans.

Oh Eznark. :lol

It was September of last year. Fucker whiffed bad on a third and short, gives up a first down. Next play he makes a tackle for a one yard loss and gets up doing his stupid fucking samurai dance.

Asshole.

I agree that Hawk's the better choice..and if we go to Barnett on the inside our run D in our 2-4-5 package (which might as well be our base) gets even worse. Hawk used to get blown up a lot more than Barnett...but this year he's a totally different animal. Barnett is undersized for our defense imo whereas Hawk has the size you need, even though he really didn't show it the way he'd fall backwards after any contact last year. Now that he's apparently fixed that he's easily better than Barnett in almost everything. Especially durability as you said.

Just hope the contract issue works out.

Wouldn't be surprised at all to see Barnett gone.

Curious to see what Packers do at OLB. Walden is playing good but by no means secured a spot.

I'd rather see them draft a CB (are there any good ones?), a RT, and then probably a DE. In that order.
I know there are some good ILBs in this years' draft, but they're all pretty small.

Ahh. I remember that play, whatever, this year/last year... it's still funny.

I want to see my Colts play the Packers in the Superbowl! Now that Warner is retired, Rodgers has become my second favorite player in the NFL. I think my boys in blue would lose another heartbreaker like last year, but would be a great game. IMHO

Some mock draft posted a few pages ago had the Packers picking an OLB in the first round of the draft. I think that's crazy talk. I dont follow players specifically so maybe whoever it was is worth it but with what we've been able to do with people off the street I think that's a waste. I'm sure you can get a serviceable one in the 3rd or 4th round, if not later.

I think the main needs are on the line again, offense and defense. We need a speedy WR / punt return type player like DeSean Jackson so if there's a guy available like that in the 1st round I say that's a no brainer. We don't have any burners on offense, they all get by with technique and excellent route running. Obviously nothing wrong with that but if we had someone who could blow the top off the defense we'd be a lot more dynamic. And the special teams return ability is the main appeal.

Yea, I'm sure it sounds silly but I really think it's the "easiest" way to improve special teams which is the weakest link on our team by far. Plus you have to assume Driver will be done or much more marginalized than he already is, which means you have to decide on Nelson or James Jones as our #2 WR. Of course Jennings looked like shit his first year or two so maybe they turn it around but they've had a few years now and still show the same problems they have since the beginning.

A first round wide receiver is not going to play kick coverage so I reject your post with a Mutombo finger waggle.
