...Well, it's not too hot. Some of you may have noticed that when you run the game in either 720p or 1080i, the game doesn't run very well. There is constant tearing and frame drops. It's worse than Sega Rally 2 DC. Seriously, the game will constantly attempt to get 60 fps and then every 2 seconds chop like crazy, all the while there is screen tearing, making for a very jarring experience. Especially for a racing game.
Just for shits, I tried the game in 480p, and while the game still suffers from frame drop and tearing, it is quite reduced in this mode. I was surprised at this, I guess EA didn't really bother optimizing for HD. And they have the nerve to put up an EA/HD logo when you run the game in 720p or 1080i. For shame.
So now I am quite enjoying NFS:MW on 360 in 480p and thought I would pass along to the gaf that you may also enjoy the game in 480p without having to suffer through the horrible performance of the game in HD.
On a similar note, Madden 360 has the same tearing problems, tearing all over the place which is horribly distracting, and makes the game look like shit.
