NHL '12 Playoffs |OT| "The Cup is our destiny this year."

You left out the part about Staal being a -7 and Karlsson a +16.
+/- does not always perfectly represent how good a player has been. Ian White was one of the league's leader in that stat for a long time, but is he better than 2 or 3 other D-men in Detroit?

Cake Boss, careful man. We need all the posters we can get in this thread.

Anyone else think he could be banned by the end of this game?

Rancourt's still got it!

Hey, Surly only looks out for one guy...Surly!

Bob Cole's feel for the relevance of comments at specific times is really poor. :(

*scrum behind the net after a whistle*

"Rangers are in the box. And Ottawa is on a powerplay."

Don't make fun of Bob's senility. It's not nice.
Dude is 79 so it's not fair to expect him to keep on top of everything.

That's true. He provides moments of unintentional comedy sometimes, though.

Lundqvist has looked unsure of the puck's location the past two stoppages. Hmm.

Wait, what?

There're defensemen who don't kill penalties? Geez.
He averages only 31 seconds of shorthanded time on ice per game. There might be more to it than that, but yeah.

But if he wins the Norris over Chara I will shit.

He will, without him this team would have been in the lottery table on Wednesday instead of the playoffs.

Reporting in from MSG. Forecheck is aggressive, passes sloppy, penalties unnecessary. Ottawa is getting too many shots but thankfully their chances haven't been great and the penalty kill has been doing its job.
