This is why I want us to take the SE... the Pens will destroy us otherwise. The rest of the teams, I feel the Jets could at least have a shot with but Pittsburgh has just manhandled us over the past 2 years for the most part.
I'm shocked about how close we are to the Sens, actually, but I hold no malice against the Sens or Ottawa. I'd love for both of us to make it in. As it stands, I'm honestly prepared for our elimination from a playoff spot, but I'm hoping to be surprised.
And echoing Calder's statements above, I, too, appreciate the nice sentiments given our way in regards to the team. I realize that it is mostly coming for the west side, and we have had little contact in the Jets 2.0 existence so far, but that will change next year. I look forward to some exciting games, regardless. And none of this 6pm start stuff so often. 7pm CST is much more preferable, thank you. Did I mention that I can't wait to get back into the west?
I will be watching scores like a madman over the next few days, provided the Jets can still keep pace.
