It's like putting mike komisarek out on the power play... It doesn't make any sense

Just to keep your D pairing equal? Then remove kostka from the top pairing. Use two offensive on top, two defensive on bottom.

And put komisarek in for every game damnit. He's a million times better than franson

Maybe he is, or maybe the sheen of the AHL is quickly wearing off. But PP shortcomings are not the problem, bad D on an ostensibly defensive-mind team in front of an AHL is the problem.
