What a fucking clown. Just because it worked once last year doesn't make it a good idea to do it again.
I was prepared to read a uninformed article about how Price has struggled just like last season, and won't be good enough for Sochi. Crisis averted.

With all apologies to the Pacific, LA needs to start winning some games. If we end up drawing LA as a wild card, I'll probably cry.
Z still isn't confirmed, but seems hopeful. We need him badly.
Also, as expected, Franzen has backed out of the Olympics. Sucks for Team Sweden and him.
Hornqvist, Nyquist, or M Johansson are the likely replacement candidates.

I sadly agree with Spector for once. Canucks' Cup window is closed. Sure they could make the playoffs but they won't be able to win 4 rounds. Torts has done his best with what he has and it's not enough.
They have no scoring depth, few high end forward prospects, and their core has NTC's.
I'm kind of terrified at what the trade deadline will bring. Either Gillis stands pat which is pretty much the white flag or he makes a big trade which won't help except to deplete the already thin prospect pool.

I still don't understand how that little shot/shove to his face has taken him out of the line up this long. It really looked like nothing when it happened.
Somebody is going to have a tough first round matchup in the west.
Fair argument that the top 5 teams in the league are in the west, and one of them is going to be out in the first round.

Someone on Sportsnet said today that the Canucks won't rebuild, and will be active at the deadline for big name players. Gillis is going to chase even if they aren't a cup team. He has to, otherwise he has to go.

Because the Ballard, Booth, Pahlsson, and Roy trades all worked so well!
Gillis is terrible at trades. His best was probably the one that got Higgins.
I agree though that this is his last stand. If the Canucks don't make a deep run this year Gillis is gone.
EDIT: No Bieksa or Tanev? Great.

Our injury situation is almost comical. I'd laugh, if I wasn't already so bitter.
Three Canucks (Santorelli, Booth and Henrik) within 10 minutes.
Kinda shocking that Booth is the only one not to miss a game from that.
Also can we just end this season already? We're bad. Like, really bad. And now everyone's injured, too.

Dater had run-ins with being a bullshitter quite a few times over the years, then he started getting exclusives that made people forget about all of the shit he lied about previously.
